I’ve been eating steamed cheese burgers since 1976 when I remodeled Ted’s Steamed Cheeseburgers. LaMay’s is just better.

Best burger place around
Very disappointed,the size of the burger was 1/2 the size of the bun.
Tasted OK but serving a big bun loaded with melted cheese and a small portion of meat was very disappointing.
I will not be back.

Ken has done a great job with this place. Adding the dining area was genius. The Wisconsin Cheese should come with a warning label, "Absolute Sharp" to perfection . Top it off with an order of wedges and you are good to go! ?

It's a steamed cheese. Once you've had one you've had them all. Food is fine but damn have they gotten expensive.

The best steamed hamburger I've ever had, which might be the best hamburger I've ever had. Even if the Wisconsin cheddar wasn't an incredible must -- which it is -- the burger and bun would stand on its perfectly seasoned merits. Fries and onion rings are on the money as well... and the staff couldn't be nicer. Went 30 minutes out of our way, and knowing what I know now, I would have gone an hour.
