Burger was ok, I enjoyed the sharp cheddar.. something different from your run of the mill burger but nothing special. Restaurant clean and service friendly but a bit pricey..I still consider my own burgers superior to anything I've yet tried.

K's is home to the best steamed cheeseburgers I've ever had. Unlike Ted's, they do not use mozzarella in their cheese mix, instead choosing a Canadian sharp cheddar mix which really adds a great kick to the burger. Don't even bother with Ted's, just go straight here. BTW, this place recently expanded physically.
Wanted to try this place after reading about how steam burgers were the thing to get in this area. ( we just moved last fall). The burger itself was tasty and juicy but I couldn't get past the gritty cheese. I guess if you steam cheese, especially a sharp cheddar, the texture just becomes off. It was chalky, gritty and it took away from my enjoying the burger. Fries were excellent. I would probably get a burger from them again but add my own cheese at home.
