Lido's Restaurant & Pizzeria

Absolutely terrific evening. Came here not knowing anything about it besides it was on our way to another destination. We had the most amazing meal and friendly staff. Everything was freshly made and delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive. We wish we lived closer by as we would be here a lot more often.

Very dissapointed with beet and avocado salad. First TRY to find a beet or avocado slice. WAYYYY to much arugula. Waitress was fair for service. Will not go back!

I went to Lido’s on Mother’s Day for their buffet, and what an experience. After we were seated, we didn’t even have a server come over to get us drinks, or even water. After about 20 minutes I finally had to find someone, and after a half hour went to find someone else. Not to mention at no point were we told to start eating at the buffet or checked on at all. For almost an hour we were totally ignored. I understand it was a holiday, and I have been attempting since May to solve this without leaving a negative review. My messages have been ignored as well, only getting quick responses showing no one read or cares about my message explaining my experience. If you are looking for a place to go for a nice meal or a holiday, stay away from Lido’s! Yikes!

Solid Italian restaurant...your typical stuff. Chicken parm was good, pizza good, wife didn't complain about her dish. Winner.

Waiter had no clue what a shirley temple was which seemed odd given they have a full bar. Asked another waiter and he came thru :)

I'd go back if in the area.

This place is like being in Italy, at least culinary. Also notice the fine strain glass work across the restaurant. Fun and good and affordable.

So what I don't like is that they don't understand a lot of english. So when you're ordering things you make sure that they understand what you order, because when you get there, take the food home, it wasn't what I expected or what I ordered.

Used to be our absolute favorite to go to,
When it was at the first location.
Seems quality isn't the same. Portions aren't the same. The service was just ok. Really miss the staff and Mike who used to always be at the front greeting us with a huge smile and saying " hello girls! The usual?"

We’ve been coming here twice a month from Hamden for the past 5 years.
We have never had a bad meal.
The staff is attentive and very personable and the food is always delicious.
Always look forward to our night out here.

Lidos changed too much after new owners took over we had a birthday party there the service was terrible not on point the food was awful not what we expected n they don't bill separate for the banquet room would not recommend this place to anyone n they get a 20% tip right off the top wouldn't have minded if it was worth it

A true hidden gem!!! Friendly service, well decorated interior with a quiet but vibrant atmosphere. The salad, Tortellini Romano, and the Chicken Gorgonzola were amazing. I will definitely be coming back, with friends! Dev was an amazing manager and server, even while training two new employees.
Parking lot and entry way are 100% wheelchair accessible, and there was plenty of parking available.
Very clean, Very good! 100/10
