Hey, it's your girl, Honest Review. I took a trip to Meriden to visit Mr. Taco. The atmosphere is very chill. The customer service was on par. My first order was the chicken flautas. The presentation was good. However, the chicken was dry and flavorless, like no seasoning, I couldn't even eat it. The tortilla was super hard. I ended up trying half of one and placing a different order for reg steak tacos. The tacos were much better. However, the steak was a tad bit salty....

We are from the south and we have yet to find a good Mexican style restaurant here in ct.
The tacos are a 7/10 the tortillas are store bought. The tacos are double tortillas so
It fills you up faster. The meat is fresh. Steak, fajita, Pastor, Tripa, even the fish is grilled here. My husband likes their fish tacos, menudo and the tripa tacos are one of his favorites.
The pinto beans are fresh.
The Rice is not good...
