Rocco's is a wonderful and friendly local bakery located In South Meriden CT. The prices are reasonable. Cash only (ATM machine inside). They carry pies, cookies, pastries, cakes, breads, etc. The service is great- Dorothy is super friendly. This is a grab and go place. There is no area to sit down with your treats and eat. The chocolate lemon pie is a favorite. They sell individual pieces of almond, tiramisu, etc. Everything we've purchased has been delicious. This is the only specialty bakery in the area. Highly recommend!

I was blown away with their Lobster Tails! I also purchased 2 small stuffed breads and they were also Delicious! I went with my Cousin that bought a small stuffed bread and a St. Joseph's Zeppole and she raved about both. I think this small Bakery is going to have to expand. What an Amazing Gem right in South Meriden. Excellent Customer Service as well. I much rather visit this Bakery that that "M" Italian Bakery that is more of a Chain now. It doesn't have the Quality and Hometown Feel like Rocco's does!I can't wait to visit again.

This is a bakery and the best around. Use to go to Rocco's in New Haven and now the son open up in Meriden after his mom closed in new haven. Now we drive the 25 miles cause they're do good.
