BEWARE, Hair was found in my hibachi takeout meal. Although I’ve eaten here many times before without any complaints; I will not be back, as hair in my food is a dealbreaker. Very disappointed.

I used to come here alot when they first opened. I got some take out recently and it was nothing like it used to be. There was zero flavor. The hibachi chicken was cut into thick pieces with a watery and tasteless sauce. They add Two pieces of grilled shrimp that's is added in any basic takeout. I've never in my life had to add soy sauce to hibachi rice before, but this place definitely needed it. I was really excited to come back to this place after so long, however after this experience, I'll stick with the other places I've been going. I paid $23 for just a hibachi chicken meal and can honestly say it tasted no different than something anyone could've made in their own kitchen with basic ingredients from the grocery store and a good wok.

My wonderful niece, who just received a well-deserved promotion, treated me to a delightful dinner at her favorite restaurant. I know I should have insisted on treating her, but she was so enthusiastic about it that I couldn’t say no!

She raved about this spot and was incredibly persuasive, and let me tell you, I’m so glad I listened to her. The hibachi grill there was one of the cleanest I’ve ever seen—seriously, it looked like they had just opened!

We ordered the hibachi meal, and the food was nothing short of phenomenal. The filet mignon literally melted in my mouth, and the rice, lo mein, and vegetables were perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. Hats off to the chef!

I also decided to try the scorpion cocktail, a massive bowl filled with various liquors, topped off with a burning flame. It was delicious! Our hibachi chef was not only talented but also humorous and down to earth, making for a truly enjoyable evening. Thank you, dear niece, for such a memorable night!

Called ahead. Seated after the hostess advised we MUST both order hibachi. Never heard of mentioning this when we called a sushi and hibachi restaurant to ensure we wouldn’t be pushed to a
Dining table again when arriving for hibachi.
Drink order taken.
Hours state open to 10. We arrived 8:15. Wait staff at far table but talking so loudly as if the place was closed that we considered getting up and telling them to shut up.
Hibachi chef arrives and starts the ‘show’. Asked questions but didn’t answer any. Had to ask three times for a second drink.
Couldn’t get theie attention be ause busy sweeping up.
Overall we would love a hibachi place but this place is a sad experience. And we were SO excited to find hibaxhi BUT skip this place unless early or when not disturbing the waitstaff.
And then someone either picking up someone sat with their lights on directly into the hibachi table. Just a poor excuse for a good dood experience.

Sakimura is my family’s favorite place for hibachi! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting! The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is so flavorful and presented very nicely. We eat here often. It’s even great for a quick lunch. The sweet potato roll is 10 out of 10!

As a sushi aficionado, I can confidently say that Sakimura in Meriden, Connecticut, is the best in the area! The sushi here is absolutely divine, with every bite bursting with freshness and flavor. But what truly sets Sakimura apart are their flaming scorpion bowls – they are a must-try! The ambiance is perfect for a romantic date night, with dim lighting and a cozy atmosphere. Whether you're a sushi enthusiast or just looking for a great dining experience, Sakimura is the place to be. Highly recommended!-Marisa Balletti-LavoieQueen of Sass
