Chef Mark has been putting good food for a very long long time every where that he has gone an he now put out the absolutely Best blackened Salmon I have ever had an I have been in the food industry since I was 17 years old,AN CHEF MARK IS THE BEST.

We as a group from the old Meriden Wallingford Hospital laboratory have been coming here for lunch as retirees. This by far my most favorite place for lunch. There are table cloths and real napkins as well as many choices for lunch including lobster rolls and fried clams. Love this place.

Prime rib is excellent this has to best Prime Rib I have had, I consider my self a connoisseur of prime rib I have travelled from north end to south end and the shore this is definitely the best piece of prime rib I have had, there were 4 of us and the feeling was the same. Food was excellent bartender as well

Was there on a Tuesday we had meals from the Tuesday specials menu. Definitely recommend that . You can't beat it with all that you get for under $20. Glad I picked here for my birthday dinner. Our server Levy was the best. We will be back .

This was my first time coming here it looks like a small little restaurant from the outside when you come in it’s actually bigger. The staff were very nice they were very busy so everything took forever. I personally did not like the food at all. My steak had a very artificial grill taste to it. My steak was undercooked and I had to send it back and it taste worse when I got it back even more artificial tasting. The mashed potatoes were flavorless and the green beans tasted like they came out of a can. My whole dish was lacking in flavor. I tried my mother’s dish as well and was not a fan. Her stuffed shrimp was very fishy tasting. I would not recommend personally and I will not be coming back.

Vegetarian options: Was here for a business meeting and chose dinner from a limited, price fixed menu. Food was well prepared and tasty, portions were adequate and service was very good considering the circumstances. Very good local Italian eatery.

Went recently for a private party. Food was amazing. Service was good. Had to look for more app plates on our own and find someone to refill things that should have been done and the Bartender was no where to be found most of the time.
My wife and I went there last night for our 29th anniversary with our daughter. We have been there many anniversary's before usually very good .first it seemed like we were bothering them for showing up without a reservation . Our server was not in a good mood , asked her if the clam strips were fresh or frozen she told me they were fresh. My wife ordered the fish chef's special , my daughter ordered the veal shank . Our appetizers were ok, French onion soup and calamari. But the main course were horrible my fried clams were not over cooked or even well done they were burnt almost black I can't not figure out how any cook would allow this to leave their kitchen. At that point I sent it back , they offered to remake or change it to prime rib I could not , just 1 piece was that bad . My wife had some of the fish but was not impressed at all didn't even finish 1/4 of it . My daughter had the same experience with her veal . After having eaten there many times over the years and never had a bad experience was extremely disappointed , and this will be the last time .
