Beautiful restaurant with excellent service. The food has been consistently fantastic for as long as I can remember. French Onion Soup and prime rib are must tries. Great salads, and great everything else. Meals come with bread, salad, starch and vegetables. Large bar room and occasional live music.

Throwback Saturday Night! Nothing like a wonderful evening celebrating a birthday with great food, incredible friends and of course an accordion player! This restaurant was very reminiscent to going out to dinner with mom and dad in the 70s. Yes, white table cloths, continental menu, simple but delicious cuisine, incredibly attentive staff and a warm and inviting atmosphere. Never thought that these types of restaurants still existed. We shall be back!

Service is excellent. Atmosphere and menu are old-school. Food is good. Clientele is mature. No screaming babies or children running around causing a ruckus. It was our second visit. Would likely go again.

I only grabbed take out, but staff was very friendly and this gorganzola chicken pasta is a winner! (I opted for no mushrooms)The exterior of the building won't draw any customers, but the inside is very nice. I don't know, but this place may have the high level reputation where street appeal isn't needed anymore (ex. Pepe's, New Haven, is a dump), to get people in the door.

Sans-Souci is a little gem. Food, Service, and Ambiance are wonderful. Get a salad with your meal and the French onion is delish. They have the best Prime Rib!Enjoyed the large Shrimp Cocktail, Lobster Roll and Baked Stuffed Shrimp. Paired nicely with a glass of Cab and Expresso Martini.

Would not recommend eating here for anyone there were no onions in my French onion soup only cheese, and the salad dressing tasted expired, if you would like good Italian food I would not recommend eating here I would rather stay home.

Cozy, delicious lunch today w my great friend! She had clam strips. I had whole belly clams. We each ordered a side salad that was fresh, crunchy and so healthy. Clams tasted crunchy, perfectly seasoned and so tender too! Bread pudding dessert was phenomenal!Thank You ? Sincerely to Mark the Chef for His Expertise in serving such Fine Food!!Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating

Visited Sans Souci on recommendation of a friend who joined us for dinner. Pleasant atmosphere upon entering. Prime Rib was good. Salad was fresh for all of our meals. But those were the only highlights. We enjoyed the basic flavor of our cups of clam chowder but two of us found zero pieces of clam and I found 3 tiny pieces totaling about the size of a dime...should have called it clam juice chowder. Tilapia with scallop stuffing was overcooked dry... the stuffing was grey and obviously made with older, almost bad scallops which they decided to use in their stuffing mixture. Breaded veal dish was covered or should I say floated in a thick cream sauce over a bed of potatoes... Very unappetizing to look at and consume.Waitress did not wait for us to even be near completing our meals when she's asked if we wanted containers for leftovers rushing us to complete our meals while taking her time bringing us refills on our waters and refilling three other tables water glasses before ours...not very welcoming to treat first time customers.Well... Two of us are at home now... Sick to our stomachs. Will definitely not be returning...even the person introducing us to the restaurant since she said she would probably never go back.Woops...almost forgot... There was a sweet older woman... who may have been the owner..who asked us how our meal was just before leaving our table.... I told her everything was fine and thank you... Could not get myself to tell her how much we disliked our experience.
