Came here for lunch and did the Cesar salad with Salmon and my friend had the chicken wrap. The wrap with slightly dry and the salmon could have used a tad bit more seasoning. But I enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was top notch. Probably will return.

Have been to the Middletown location many times and decided to try Meriden for a dine in experience. The atmosphere was great, very clean and inviting. Our server was nice and friendly although maybe a bit distracted. We ordered brisket, Mac n cheese, corn bread, as well as buffalo wings as an appetizer. The brisket had great smoke flavor, was tender and juicy. The buffalo wings were specially delicious. Very smokey and crispy, I would suggest them to everyone!

We've been here several times now & have always had excellent food & service! Tried the pasta today, which is made in-house, & it was amazing! Ribs, brisket, steak, chicken, & sides (try the coleslaw!) are also incredibly good. Will definitely be back!

They ran out of many food items, tried to put us outside at night without any lights, served us mystery salad dressing, the place smelled like disinfectant. We went as a group and the comments the next day were “wow, no one got food poisoning”

Don't sweat it, I'm not coming back. This was my first time here, only 'cause the one in Middletown is so good, but the food and service here at the Meriden Taino Smokehouse were a letdown. You know the food's bad when you're already thinking about cooking more at home. It's wild, 'cause the one in Middletown, the first time, maybe even the second, was good, but I heard so much about this place. The atmosphere gets a 10, but the food and service just don't measure up to what I've heard from the people at the Middletown one.
Sat outside on a sunny day and had such a great lunch! My sandwich was delicious, everything was super fresh, and we even got to play cornhole on the patio while waiting for our food. Definitely coming back!

Today, September 20, my family and I came to eat at 1:37 PM, but the host treated us with a very bad attitude because we entered through the wrong door. We asked her if something was wrong, and she responded with even more rudeness. When we told her that we were leaving, she actually encouraged us to do so. Someone with this kind of attitude should not be receiving guests. We will never come back, and we hope the management and the owner address this situation.

I wholly enjoyed the dinner experience, however there are some things that could be improved. We spent a fair amount of time swatting flies which in any situation regarding food can ruin a meal. Their dessert menu could use some upgrading we were completely satisfied with our entrees but the dessert left something to desired. The staff was phenomenal which is the anchor to any restaurant. Overall I had good time and would revisit.
