Expect a 2-3 wait for a pie, didn’t look too busy. I don’t get the CT pizza trend.

Incredible place, they take their pizza seriously! Amazing eggplant pizza ready for pickup at exactly the time they told me to come in. These guys are running a legit pizza operation.

Great pizza! Rivals New Haven. Friendly people. You should call ahead, and it may take a while, but your pizza will be ready when promised. Atmosphere is really not applicable, but the place is clean.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free is available

If you’re in Connecticut because of one bite pizza reviews, and you only have time for one place.. GO HERE. Everything about this pizza is great.. crispy without the burn, flavorful sauce , good cheese. A must have for pizza lovers.

Pizza was incredible, definitely the best in the area. Sauce was sweet and delicious and had a great choice of topping options for whatever you like.

A great old school pizza parlor. Nothing fancy , just great pizza. Staff very friendly, the pie we had House special , peppers, sausage and mushrooms. Great pizza!!!! Everything about this small pizza joint is a reminder of how simple things are so rewarding. Certainly a must for those who treasure great pizza. It doesn't get much better than this, simple, small, friendly with a great 1960's-70's vibe

The crown jewel of The Little Rendezvous undoubtedly lies in its delicious brick oven pizza. The heritage of Oven Number 312, dating back to 1888, has paved the way for a culinary tradition that has stood the test of time. The brick oven imparts a distinctive flavor and texture to the pizzas, creating a delightful crispy crust and perfectly melted cheese. Whether it's the classic recipes from the past or innovative creations of the present, each pizza reflects the expertise and commitment of the owners over the years. Under the skillful hands of Steve Chehotsky, who has been part of the establishment since his youth, the brick oven pizzas continue to be a highlight. The enduring tradition of crafting mouthwatering pizzas in this historic oven adds an extra layer of authenticity to the dining experience at The Little Rendezvous.

Better than the New Haven joints, hands down. You have to try it.

I really really wanted to like this pizza based on recommendations and reviews. Drove an hour from SE CT to try it. We ordered an extra sauce and extra cheese apizza, and a eggplant, sausage, onion, and mushroom pizza. We didn't want to sit in today. Restaurant is a weird layout, the front is not a welcome dining feeling, the pizza pick up point is a ways to the back.I shared a slice with my mom in the car the moment we got it. Honestly, was disappointed. The sauce was very bland, the cheese was greasy, and the crust lacked flavor. How this got a review of 9.1 was beyond us. It's not worth the hype. It wasn't bad, just wasn't great. Three stars for the pizza. We ended up going to Sally's and Zuppardis on this mecca and brought those home for the family on the way back. The eggplant sausage pizza was better. Apizza is best fresh. Interestingly, we tried another piece after getting home and it's one of those rare times where both pizzas tastes better cold. Still, Sals and Zupps still won out by a long shot.Side note, the owner was there, and despite other reviewers on here and their experience, he was very nice to me, chatted with me, and did seem proud of his pizza, so I'm a little bummed writing this review. The extra star is for that.
