After being told about how good the pizza was and that it's made in house fresh, we were looking forward to it. It took a while to prepare, about 45 mins between ordering and receiving it. We ordered the tangy chicken pizza which comprises of buffalo chicken and a healthy dose of blue cheese dressing as stated on the menu but there wasn't any dressing on the pizza. There also wasn't much chicken on an 18" pizza. One slice had the tiniest piece of chicken on it

Soo many good reviews..what happened? My pie was a soggy, sloppy mess. I couldn't eat it. That's right, I couldn't eat my pizza. It was that bad.

Delicious, hot cheese pizza! Perfectly thin crust. The 12\" meatball grinder with provolone was good but could have been better if there were a few more meatballs. Sadly, it was mostly grinder roll.

Just tried the meatball grinder- hands down the best meatball I’ve ever had. The owner told my husband that it’s his mothers recipe…and we’ll it lives up to a family recipe! So so so good! Will be back!!!

I am pizza picky and insist on a NY style pie, whereas my husband is easier to please. It has been difficult to find ONE place that makes us both happy. Until today. I had driven by Local NY pizza several times on my way home to Durham, and today I finally got to try it. I could not have been happier!!!! We BOTH loved it, they were cooked exactly how we like it (both different of course), and the owner even agreed to delivery even tho we were a smidge out of their delivery radius. I highly recommend and can't wait to try more menu items. Job well done ?

Ordered through Grubhub. They blamed grubhub for activating their businesses account and failed to let us know our order wouldn’t be coming until after it should have already arrived. They unapologetically continued to take 0 responsibility for anything. Was going to be our first time having it, will not try again.

Your first bite of pizza pops with a burst of savory tomato sauce which fills your palette with a tart not sweet and yet not bitter flavor. This pizza is perfect! The amount of cheese is not too much nor skimpy. The crust of the pizza is baked without being burned as so many pizzerias in Meriden think pizza should be. After eating a slice of their pizza you feel satisfied not bloated. Having moved to Meriden just over a year ago, I am so happy I found this place. My landscaper says the chicken parm grinder is awesome.

Ordered a cheese pizza, chicken cutlet and bbq wings. There was no flavor to the cutlet whatsoever. you definitely couldn’t taste any seasoning. The size of the sand which was good but no flavor. The wings weren’t “crispy” and the blue cheese was watered down. We have seen ranch blue cheese be creamier than this. The pizza was nothing fancy to brag about. Also saw food being heated in a microwave. Not sure if it could get any worse than this!I’ll also add that there were bickering going back and forth between staff behind the counter. Not the nicest way to have customers walk in to pick up food.Updates in response to owners reply of disagreeing about the food. We used to go there when it was sals and didn’t have a problem with the food. First time trying it with the new owners.

We randomly stopped here on our way to Maine...and we're glad we did! Pizza, chicken wings (especially bbq chicken), and mozzarella sticks were delicious. My 3 year old approved as well... not to mention how very polite and caring the employees were. Definitely the go to pit stop if you need a quick bite to eat.
