Xing Long Chinese Restaurant

I admire this place! They give good food, their menu is varied, The chief cook in that restaurant is a real authority in the kitchen, I love a lot eating all their dishes. The food is consistently good, the attitude towards the guests is good. I often go to this restaurant and I was never unsatisfied. Highly recommended.

Calling ahead is pointless. They don't start cooking your food until you show up!

After waiting for more than five minutes to order I walked out. They weren't busy but choose to keep cooking and make me wait. Last time they will see me.

Whoever is trying to call Xing Long, give up. They have not answered a phone call since 8:20. I ordered 3 egg rolls and wonton soup before 8:00 and was told 20 minutes. At 8:40 I told them I would just like my money back because the rest of my dinner at home is getting cold, at that time they STARTED trying to cook my order.

Place serves Chinese food but only takes cash no credit nor debit cards.place opens up about 11am so plan to get there around that time of morning for lunchtime deals.

Best Chinese spot in town! Best Chinese soup, I've ever had, best boneless spare ribs! Also very clean! Definitely recommend to anyone reading this. I visit often since finding them. Only downside for those who do not have a car is that they do not deliver.

Great food at a fair price. Bring cash, they do not accept credit cards. There is a Wells Fargo with an ATM and a Stop and Shop where you can pull cash within walking distance.

I truly really love the food and the owners are so sweet. It blew their minds that I spoke Chinese even though I'm Creole from Mississippi.

The food was disgusting. I love Chinese food and have eaten from several 100s of places and this by far was the worse. The inside of their chicken was grey and tasted like pennies. The Lo mein was soggy and tasted old. The lettuce in the lo mein tasted very sour as well. Will never eat from them again.

I have been eating at this restaurant since it first opened when i was a kid in highschool (early 90's). Very nice family, restaurant is always clean, stainless steel fixtures shine like new. And they are always cleaning. BY FAR the best Chinese food in Meriden. They do not accept debit/credit cards, so make sure to bring cash, they also do not deliver, but its worth the drive. Call ahead and your food is hot and ready to go when you get there. And they treat everyone with respect and a welcoming hello when you come through the door. Its a small place, only a few tables if you want to eat in. But if you havent tried them yet, you're missing out..

This is by far my favorite Chinese Restaurant in town. They are a family owned restaurant who make great food. If your a Wonton Soup person, this is the place to stop! They do not deliver and THEY ONLY TAKE CASH (I caps locked this as I feel it's very important to know this going in). Now the good news is the restaurant is in the same plaza as a Wells Fargo and Stop and Shop so it's incredibly easy to get cash if needed. The food is always delicious and I never have a problem ordering from here.

Good price, good taste, specially when the man is cooking. I would like to eat in the restaurant but they never turn the heater on during the winter. It is very cold inside. Very uncomfortable. Best option during winter.... carry out.
