I admire this place! They give good food, their menu is varied, The chief cook in that restaurant is a real authority in the kitchen, I love a lot eating all their dishes. The food is consistently good, the attitude towards the guests is good. I often go to this restaurant and I was never unsatisfied. Highly recommended.

Calling ahead is pointless. They don't start cooking your food until you show up!

I only had the hot and sour soup, and it was good. It was made to order and served piping hot. The sesame smell hits you first when you open it up, and then the flavor. The texture, spiciest, and sourness were just about perfect. It was also inexpensive (cash only BTW). Some details for soup fanatics: this was a vegetable soup with (button) mushroom, carrot, celery, and maybe something I missed like wood ears. There wasn't any bamboo that I noticed, and there were no tofu or chicken. It was thickened and had drizzled egg, as you'd expect. I'd definitely come back if I wanted some decent soup for a great price, but not if I had my heart set on chicken, tofu, or shiitake.

After waiting for more than five minutes to order I walked out. They weren't busy but choose to keep cooking and make me wait. Last time they will see me.

I got chicken lo main, it was soggy and had little to no flavor but the portion of chicken inside was great. Though the place was clean and the lady very nice!!

Always great food...very clean kitchen...and the best sesame chicken. Meriden's best secret.

Whoever is trying to call Xing Long, give up. They have not answered a phone call since 8:20. I ordered 3 egg rolls and wonton soup before 8:00 and was told 20 minutes. At 8:40 I told them I would just like my money back because the rest of my dinner at home is getting cold, at that time they STARTED trying to cook my order.

Place serves Chinese food but only takes cash no credit nor debit cards.place opens up about 11am so plan to get there around that time of morning for lunchtime deals.

Best Chinese spot in town! Best Chinese soup, I've ever had, best boneless spare ribs! Also very clean! Definitely recommend to anyone reading this. I visit often since finding them. Only downside for those who do not have a car is that they do not deliver.

Don't let this place scare you. Nestled in towards the back end of the parking lot, the appearance is not the greatest but the food is what this place is all about. If your looking to get Chinese take out this is the best place to get it. The food is delicious, and tastes amazing. One down fall is that they only take cash, it is clearly marked everywhere. They have seating for you to eat while your there but you will enjoy it better at home. This is my go to for take out in Meriden.

Great food at a fair price. Bring cash, they do not accept credit cards. There is a Wells Fargo with an ATM and a Stop and Shop where you can pull cash within walking distance.

I truly really love the food and the owners are so sweet. It blew their minds that I spoke Chinese even though I'm Creole from Mississippi.

The food was disgusting. I love Chinese food and have eaten from several 100s of places and this by far was the worse. The inside of their chicken was grey and tasted like pennies. The Lo mein was soggy and tasted old. The lettuce in the lo mein tasted very sour as well. Will never eat from them again.
