Nice meal overlooking the golf course. The weather was very pleasant so we Saturday on their outdoor rear patio. The beer was good as was the food and service. We'll be back.

we had the farmer's nachos, and some sandwiches. The food was all well prepared, the service was excellent. Serving portions or a nice size., a little hard to finish off. The wait staff was very friendly and well prepared to handle the influx of customers. We plan on returning to the orchard again and will absolutely eat there. Highly recommended!

Really nice place, great people, great food and drinks, prices pretty good especially specialty drinks. Had a great time. Only downside was the noise level. It was a 15 on a scale of 1-10. The live music was too loud so people were shouting in order to have a conversation while dining. Maybe add some sound proofing somehow to reduce the echo of music and conversations. Otherwise it was a nice evening out!

We've been here several times and love it! The interior is warm and inviting, and the outdoor seating overlooks the golf course and ponds. Service is great and food is delicious and reasonably priced. A great place for casual lunch or dinner.

The 1741 Pub and Grill at Lyman Orchards is a hidden gem! When we arrived, we were promptly greeted and seated. The location of the Pub in the heart of Lyman Orchards provides patrons with a beautiful atmosphere, offering a stunning view of the lush greens of the golf course. It's the perfect setting for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. Our server, Irene, was an absolute delight. She was incredibly responsive and pleasant, making us feel completely at ease. We truly appreciated that she gave us plenty of time to chat and enjoy our company; we never felt rushed, which made for a truly relaxing dining experience. We started with the spinach and artichoke dip, served with warm naan bread, and it was absolutely delicious! Next, we ordered the Farmhouse Burgers, and they were perfectly cooked – juicy and flavorful. The presentation was impeccable, making each dish a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. If you are in the Middlefield area, the 1741 Pub and Grill can offer you gourmet food at affordable prices. It's rare to find such high-quality dining in such a beautiful setting without breaking the bank. We left feeling completely satisfied and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend! Well done 1741!!

Attended the 5 yr anniversary raspberry festival. Major criticism about the hamburgers. Pretty poor! Good music. Excellent service.

Our waitress was very nice and attentive and the food we both ordered was really good. My girlfriend got the BLT with added chicken, I got the cod sandwich.

I hosted my rehearsal dinner here, and the event was a hit! We booked the lower grill room for our private event. My guests couldnt stop raving about the views from the restaurant. The menus they offer for large events had something for everyone. They were even able to accommodate allergies with ease. Staff was kind, and even offered to box up leftovers for us. Becky with Lyman's was a breeze to work with, and our event happened seamlessly.

Seating was amazing with a wonderful view, server was really nice and took care of us thoroughly. The wings were top 5 I’ve ever had lol reminded me of my mothers wings. Would definitely double back!

3 rd time here. 3rd time disappointed.

With the pictures online I expected more. The inside restaurant is so noisy you can't talk. We sat outside at a dirty table. The view was beautiful. The food was nothing to talk about. The wings were crispy and tasty, some were over cooked. The turkey panini was “deli” not roasted turkey, which I did not expect as there is a deli turkey sandwich on the menu, and was just okay. The fish and chips did not look good, but didn't taste too bad. Our server was attentive and friendly.

We held our FFA Banquet at the Event Tent at the 1741 Pub & Grill and it was AMAZING! The service was outstanding. For example, I learned at the event we had a guest who is allergic to pepper. The chef went out of their way to prepare a delicious hot meal so she would feel welcome. Great communication throughout the entire process (thanks Becky!). The tent was suitable for any event. The supplemental heat was appreciated for the crisp evening. The following day I asked our teens for feedback, it was 100% positive! That is high praise indeed (IYKYK)! One guest, who has attended several banquets across CT, said it was the best banquet food he ever had.
