I enjoy eating game meat, I've been a hunter for over 50 years so I must, but this was beyond the next level. The food was amazing, from the abundant appetizers to the delicious cookie and cream dessert. The selection was so varied and so well prepared. I was hesitant to try the octopus dish having never tried that protein before, but it ended up being one of my favorite dishes. I definitely believe that the wild boar chop was the star of the show. The venison papardelle bolognese was also amazing as was the alligator and andouille jambalaya. I do have to mention that the appetizers, Cajun alligator bites, duck spring rolls, bison sliders, venison chili and bison & boar meatballs (my favorite appetizer), were also out of this world! The appetizers were so plentiful that I was almost full before the entrees were served, but I had no trouble enjoying those because there was enough time between dishes to let the previous course settle a bit. The dessert, while seemingly simple, was deceptively complex. A large chocolate chunk cookie (excellent chocolate) with wild boar bacon and a delicious vanilla bean ice cream to top it off. The service was great, the servers were polite, friendly and professional. I have to say that the chefs were completely on their game. I don't remember ever having such wonderful food so beautifully presented. I'm sure that even a person who professes to detest game meat would have thoroughly enjoyed these dishes. I was extremely pleased and left the restaurant completely satisfied and, surprisingly, not over full. I also was able to take some pappardelle and jambalaya home because the servers thoughtfully brought us containers that allowed me to do so. I hope that The Fire on the Ridge makes this an annual tradition. I would definitely do it again and highly recommend this for anyone! Well done and, again, my sincere compliments to the chefs and the entire staff!

Nice little hidden gem. It must be great in the winter months. The food was good and the service was spot on.

Overall the food was ok. The service was very sub par. We had a great time because we were together but won't be back. Especially for a special occasion.

We attended Mother's Day brunch as we had a great experience last year. This year the food was good, but not outstanding like last year. No peel and eat shrimp- which both my parents were looking forward to, but more gf options this year. Wish they would offer a gf dessert. Pastry tower was difficult to navigate. Dessert was much better last year. For $72, I expected a little more. Plus Mom got a mimosa last year, not this year. We waited to be seated for 15 mins when we had a reservation as the hostess tried to accommodate a large party without reservations. The line was out the door by the time we were seated.

We sat on the patio, in the sunshine. Food was very good. Chicken sandwich and fries were large portions. Short ribs were tender and large portion. Shrimp cocktail in raw bar appetizer were a bit small. Live music on the patio was excellent. He was taking requests all night.

Tapas night, not great overall. Food was ok, drinks were poor, service was ok - we were forgotten for long stretches and had to remind servers about forgotten items. Would go back again but just to order off the regular menu.

The food was fantastic. All 7 in our party agreed and was very satisfied with their meals. The service was excellent. Mary went out of her way to accommodate us. She even sang happy birthday to my son. The only negative was the number of children running and screaming around the dining room. It was almost like a Chucky Cheese atmosphere at one point. We would have appreciated a much quieter setting for my son's birthday dinner.

Great dinner experience before tubing. Parm fries were delicious and cauliflower margarita pizza was excellent.

Service was not great and it seemed like it was a bother to do their job. Food definitely went down hill from previous visits.

Great experience with the limited staff available. There was no hostess so took me a little while to find a server/bartender who could help with the reservation. But Bridgette was great, quick and did an amazing job serving us and running around. The clam chowder was very good and perfect after a day on the hill. My son had the butter pasts and it was made perfectly. I had the pear and apple salad and it hit the spot. I would def order again. Outside of limited staff, it is a great spot for food and drinks after hours on the hill.

The food and service was great our waitress was excellent the apps and entrée's were excellent there was 8 of us all the meals were good! Only thing that was troublesome is the kids running around in there and couldn't hear yourselves talk and there parents just sat there and allowed it but overall was a good experience would return maybe not in the winter!!

If you approach eating at 'Fire in the Ridge' with the expectation that you'll be in a hub of skiing activity with loud children running everywhere because their parents are ignoring them, then you won't be disappointed. Our service was OK - we had a party of 4, and two people's food came out together, and then a few minutes later one more came out, and then close to 10 minutes later someone came over to apologize and a few minutes after that, the 4th meal came out. They did offer to comp a round of drinks, which was nice. In terms of cost - we paid the same amount of money we would have paid to go to a nicer restaurant, and given the atmosphere (noise, chaos) I would have expected this place to be a lot cheaper. The food was pretty good overall, but nothing was special.

From the moment we entered the restaurant until the moment we left, we were treated with the most care and consideration. A fresh long stem rose for me. Seated by the fireplace it seemed like a very special evening was in store.. The menu was well planned and balanced just the right amount of food and the presentation was impeccable. Servers were professional and friendly, and our rep part with all of them was just right. The fillet was amazing and cooked to perfection and the shrimp and clams casino were also very good Dessert was an amazing heart-shaped, layered chocolate vanilla concoction ....out of this world. Definitely will come back and try other evenings, including the live music, which was just a nice addition to the evening.
