Does the cook/owner not care about the food being served here? How do you make a pizza that’s clearly burnt and still just decide to serve it to paying customers. Came here in the past and it was so much better.

This restaurant opened in a place that had been a happening pizza place, Mario's. After a brief shut down Agapi opened. Their food is such a higher caliber of good! I don't understand why it's not busier. The quality, taste and price are fantastic. We've tried their pizza's, burgers and traditional Greek dishes and will try even more things! Please give it a try.

Wow! Came in with a party of 7. Tried some of everything on the menu. The vegan in our group was delighted with the wide range of options. Everyone was delighted. High points were Greek specialties, fries, make your own bowls. Fresh, favorable well presented. Good prices and friendly service. This neighborhood spot is well worth a trip.

I've only been once so far, for take out. Agapi is a small place with limited seating and even more limited parking. The day I went in, it was HOT inside so I couldn't imagine dining in during the summer. But I had ordered takeout and they also offer delivery.I ordered my go to, the falafel platter. I upgraded to the Greek fries as my side for an extra $3.50. The falafel itself was a little bland, and a little mushier than I like personally, but altogether on the pita it was good. The tzatziki is out of this world, and they're generous with it!The fries...are definitely the best fries I've had anywhere in Middletown, possibly anywhere in CT...or just....anywhere. I got takeout, which I picked up maybe 10 minutes after it was ready, then drove home. And the fries were still crispy hot and perfect. If you do take out, you know how hard that is to achieve without the steam effect! They were flavorful and the feta was perfectly creamy and salty on top. Agapi's menu had a whole "fry bar" section and I see why. Do yourself a favor and ensure your order includes fries!I did the side salad no justice when I opened it upside down. Why do takeout containers always perplex me? So I put it on a plate to show that it was quite large, with tons of feta, some tomato, cucumbers and a couple Kalamata olives. I wasn't a fan of the lemon vinaigrette, a little light on flavor, but I'm also really picky with dressing and used my own homemade instead. All of this including tax, tip, and online order fee, for just over $20. And it was definitely enough food for 2 people or 2 meals. Great deal! I can't wait to try the gyros (traditional, pork or chicken) next time with that amazing tzatziki sauce!

I love Agapi!! Everything I've had from here has been nothing less then delicious. The falafel is slammin' and their tzatziki sauce is unmatched, I always ask for extra. Their pizzas are incredible but my favorite has to be the unique fig jam pizza with fresh green apple slices, it is actually out of this world and I've never had another pizza like it! The chicken gyro is another dish we have tried that did not disappoint. Most of the dishes are served with French fries which are sooooo good and a beautiful fresh greek side salad. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. Not only is their food incredible but so are their prices!! (Which is hard to find these days with inflation) I reeeally hope this establishment lasts and sticks around because nothing seems to stay in business at that specific location.... Help keep this great gem in business and go try the food I'm certain you won't be disappointed
