I posted a longer & very descriptive review. This short mention of garlic knots & eggplant parm wasn't it
..I attended a 67th Anniversary luncheon a week ago...attendees had a variety of menus items, we also shared a variety of appetizers as well as beverages.
Service was excellent.
The two comments shown was not my recommendation

A Cupcake for Later

We did some shopping then we're going to check out the Duham Fair. but we were late and didn't want to take the bus ride for 30 minutes left of the Fair. so we looked for somewhere to eat. what luck! We had a fabulous experience! A couple great drinks. Some delicious garlic bread. Then dinner came. my eggplant rolatini was amazing! my wife dish was as well. we had the pistachio Gelato for dessert. and I had a delicious espresso. The service? it was a delight! Made our day. loved everything about this accidental dinner! well be back for sure! thank you all!

1 of the 2 Italian restaurants I actually like in this state. the atmosphere while small is nice it looks like a restaurant, not an olive garden (actual, not the McDonald's of Italian cooking) or painted up like you are supposed to be dining on a street. The flavors are original and crazy robust instead of cliche too much garlic, acidic tomato, and Mccormick's Italian blend. The garlic knots are fresh, and you can actually taste the garlic and parmigiana while neither is overpowering. Portions are perfect, and I don't only mean the amount of food you can actually clean the plate of sauce without having to ask for more knots (if you are strong enough to hold off on them that is) and my favorite part is you can tell the chicken came from a chicken because the cutlets and breast are the size of a chicken and very juicy this place is fantastic.

Slight critique: I know it sounds weird and time wasting, but rinse the shrimp a second time before cooking it. I discovered this by accident with my customers, a few times we were in the weeds and I had to thaw shrimp quickly so I did the usual and many times only a few weren't thawed so I put them in a strainer and flipped them while defrosting them and getting ready to take them from the strainer to the grill or flour. I was confirmed pretty quickly that I wasn't the only one that noticed a difference

Very nice place, friendly staff and great food!! I had chicken and shrimp over Pappardelles pasta. The garlic knots were the best I’ve tasted.

I can say I was very pleased with the service. My friend, another attendee chose it based on the Google reviews.

I went with a group of 8 with 3 kids (12, 4, and 8 months). They brought the high chair for the toddler and we were able to put the baby's car seat in the other high chair.

The restaurant setting was nice and it was very clean. I liked the setting.

The staff was very professional and helpful. They checked in to ensure we had all we needed but was not overbearing checking every second. The allowed us to have our meal in peace.

The food was delicious, well cooked, and hot when served. I started with the minestrone soup which was tasty. Then, I had the shrimp and scallops and wondered if the tomatoes and sundried tomatoes with marinara sauce would be too much tomatoes but it was just right with the pasta. My son and I shared the meal as it was good sized portion.

They had something for everyone. 1 person had a burger with fries, the toddler chicken tenders with fries, and the 12 year old wings.

I would recommend this restaurant. They need a location in Trumbull or Bridgeport.

Parking: I did not count the spots but there was more than enough.

Kid-friendliness: It's fine. The group had a baby and a toddler and they could accommodate us all.
