Carmela's on the Extension

I just want to start out by saying the Weekend Before Thanksgiving got away from me. I was hospitalized overnight Sunday into Monday and woke in a panic Monday. I was scheduled to make a lasagne for my family Thanksgiving gathering for Thursday. I posted on the Middletown Facebook page and Carmella messaged me! She assured me she could handle a lasagne for 20-25 people and boy was she right! I picked it up Wednesday at 3pm. She came out to say Hi, her staff was excellent & courteous. There were other folks there picking up Thanksgiving take out. My family was thrilled and the lasagne was excellent. As I am tryping this, I am eating the last piece at almost 2am Tuesday morning. Kudos to Carmella and all involved. We will be in to try out breakfast soon. One Million Stars and Many Thanks.

First time here I stopped here after my visit from Quest I ordered the corned beef hash toast and 2 eggs over easy and sausage links I gave 3 stars I ordered this food to go the eggs wasn't what I expected the potato no seasoning burnt did not like them at all the sausages and corned beef was excellent so I'm gonna stop here again the waitress was wonderful didn't get her name she was very polite and professional the place inside was nice and clean so I'm gonna have to stop and sit down so hopefully my review may change.

Last week, I was in the area and noticed this restaurant, so I called ahead and ordered a bacon egg & cheese on a hard roll to go.
It was ready when I arrived. The sandwich was hot and delicious. The staff/workers were friendly.
The restaurant itself looked nice.
It was fairly busy when I was there.

We ordered breakfast to go and it was not good. The person who took our order was nice on the phone & in person when we picked our food up but both the omelet & scrambled eggs taste like they were made with powdered eggs, cheese missing from omelet, toast missing, biscuits & gravy had no flavor, not even a sprinkle of salt. Just very disappointing.

This place is the best! I always come here and order the Irish Benedict and it's made with perfection! Also the French toast is to die for! If you're ever in the Middletown area and want a wonderful pleasant place to eat, this is the place to go no doubt ??❤️

Stopped in for breakfast for the 1st time. We ordered an omelet with home fries & biscuits with gravy. The home fries were really well done...almost had a burnt flavor, and the biscuits & gravy were too dry...biscuits were good but hardly any gravy. They should be smothered with gravy. The service was great. The coffee was good & strong! Not impressed for it being the 1st time.

This little gem of a breakfast place offers an absolutely delicious breakfast. Homefries were the best we ever had! Service was friendly, attentive, and food was freshly prepared. While we didn’t order pancakes, the table next to us did and the presentation was lovely and the diners looked pleased. The place was exceptionally clean.

Carmela’s is hands down the most delicious breakfast you’ll find in Middletown! Her biscuits and gravy is a total game-changer (full disclosure, I don’t eat meat anymore, but Carmela’s biscuits and gravy is what I miss most, lol)! Not only is her food bangerang, Carmela has hosted fundraising events at her restaurant for Special Olympics, and she is super generous, donating gift cards to community fundraiser events. Support your local kickass woman-owned business! Your tummy will thank you ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

?? Nothing less than exceptional all around. Definitely one of my favorite places to dine out. So many options to choose from on the menu.
