I always come to this restaurant, the food is so good, the drinks are always spot on, not too strong and not too sweet just how I like it. The servers/bartender are very friendly. They have some nice decorations put up if you want to take some pictures and the atmosphere is nice. The dinning room is a perfect place to chat and feel at peace with the music. The bar is great to come have some quick drinks a couple of tapas, listen to music and leave happy, the patio is a nice place to enjoy the view and weather. Prices match the quality of the food. The point is this is one of my favorite places to come to with my family, wife, friends. they do such a good job with everything they do! I want them to get more recognition because they definitely have so much potential!

Ate here for the first time on 8/23/24 and it was fantastic. My friend and I just went with appetizers so we could share and try a bunch of stuff. I enjoyed the chicken empanadas, the shaved Brussels sprouts, and the duck medallions. The strawberry Paloma drink and the chocolate lava cake was good too. I will definitely be back!

Garlic shrimp was totally worth money. Taste has a hint of lemon in addition to the garlic. The Paella was cooked to perfection. They do give you lots of seafood in the paella and the lobster and crab meat slides right out of the shell. The rice was grainy, not at all gummy in texture and absorbed the complimentary flavors very well. Definitely worth the money to eat here.

This place is gorgeous, very nice relaxing atmosphere. The food was so good and the quality if the seafood was amazing. The paella was to die for and their daily deals or their prices are great. Can't wait to go back and visit the friendly staff too.

Food was very good but service was horrible. Waitress forgot to bring shrimp with salad and when we asked for it she brought it and rang it up as a lunch item and not the protein to the salad. Prosecco Sangria for $40 a pitcher had very little to no alcohol. She barely came out to check on us and we had to go In To get the check. Very disappointed. There was at most one other table so it wasn’t a crowd issue. Some of the food took a very long time to be served. With so many good restaurants in Middletown we will not be back to el pulpa.

I only recently learned that this tapas bar existed in Middletown’s Main Street Market, and I’m so glad that I visited! They had a huge menu with choices to fit anyone’s preferences. Highlights for us were the paella, croquettes, and even the Brussels salad because it had such a great truffle flavor! Their drinks were fantastic - we’re still talking about the Barbie one we had in a unique glass! Definitely save room for the delicious chocolate strawberry cake for dessert. Loved the ambiance, and our server was professional and attentive!
