Really disappointed with the service here. No matter how many times we give it another chance, it’s always the same story — even with online orders, we still wait 10–30 minutes after pickup time. Definitely needs improvement.

Thr food was decent and I would be going back however I paid $15 for a family size banana pudding and never received it. I made multiple attempts to contact the restaurant or company thru email, support, and phone numbers. I have never received the food i paid for or the money that was taken

I can’t say enough good things about the team at Haven Hot Chicken in Middletown. They’re incredibly kind, generous, and always willing to give back to the community. They provided an amazing donation for Emergency Nurses Week, and everyone at the ER was so thankful. The food was outstanding, and it genuinely made the day brighter for so many people.
It’s rare to find a business that puts so much heart into what they do, both in their food and in the way they treat people. Thank you to the Haven Hot Chicken team for your generosity and for always showing up for the community.

I visited last night and was impressed with our server, whose name started with G - she's a lovely lady who deserves a 5/5 rating! However, the food didn't quite live up to expectations. Our tenders and sandwich were a letdown. The sandwich had a strong oil smell, which was off-putting. The tenders were also surprisingly small, almost like kid-sized portions. On a positive note, when we complained about the size, the Togo order of tenders was upgraded to jumbo size, which was a nice touch. That being said, the bill came out to be around $55, which felt steep considering the quality and quantity of food. To improve, the restaurant should focus on serving the right quantity, especially at that price point. Despite the food issues, the service was great, thanks to our server. With some improvements, this place could be great.

I tried Haven Hot Chicken for the first time today, ordered a Tendie Duo Combo Mild. I tried all three sauces and by far the sweet sauce is my favorite; completely changed the game for me when it comes to chicken and tenders at that! The tenders are just about 3oz a piece so juicy & crispy with the right amount of spice. But if you like them hot they have that option too! Sarah took my order and filled me in on all there was to know about Haven Hot Chicken in Storrs & helped me to select what I wanted, & it didn’t take them long to prep my order for take out, amazing customer service! I must say I love the dine in set up as well & the restaurant was immaculately clean! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Chicken sandy was big and juicy, fries were ok. Mac and cheese pretty disappointing. Price and service was good. Would try them again with different sides.

Small menu but items were all well done. If you were expecting a very hot chicken it wasn't quite as hot as expected sauce wise but very good. The hottest one complimented the Mac and cheese very well. My son enjoyed his kids meal a great deal and the French fries were soft in the inside and crispy on the outside l.
