Illiano's Ristorante and Pizzeria

Our visit to Illiano’s Pizzeria was absolutely fantastic from start to finish! The moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a friendly atmosphere that immediately made us feel at home. The staff at the counter were welcoming kind, and our waitress, Choralei, went above and beyond to make our experience great she was kind, thoughtful, and incredibly attentive, especially with our older family members, and even packed our leftovers with care. I ordered the Chicken Francese, and it was perfectly cooked, bursting with bright, zesty lemon flavor, accompanied by pasta in a creamy, rich vodka sauce that was just as amazing. The portions were generous, the service was exceptional, and every detail, from the food to the friendly staff, made our meal truly special. Illiano’s Pizzeria is the kind of place that leaves you smiling, full, and eager to come back again—highly recommend to anyone looking for incredible food and outstanding service!

I come from Trumbull to visit my son in Middlefield and to get Illiano's PIZZA!! I love the display case with a lot of different slices to choose from! A LOT!! I get 4-6 slices and eat one on the way home. The slices are HUGE and the pizza is excellent!! Every trip includes a pizza stop!!! Thank you!!! Greg

I am from Middletown, born and raised my family always supports this establishment. I walked in to get a pizza from somewhere Ive been eating at since I was a child, I can’t believe the attitude and unprofessionalism I experienced today from an employee named Ana; that I guarantee she hasn’t been there for as long as I been a customer there. As I am waiting, she takes others orders before me, and she said she didn’t take my order because I was on the phone, but the employees are all on their phones discussing their personal business at a professional establishment at the front counter. Regardless of me being on my phone or not; I don’t understand her intentionally ignoring me while you’re clocked into work. I am sitting there waiting for her to attempt to say “let me know when you’re ready and I can take your order.” Or anything really. My family is Sicilian, this somewhere we love to go, we’ve going for over 20 years. The employee was Ana, she was very sarcastic instead of attempting to problem solve, she became very inappropriate, and extremely rude, she began to mock and smile like the situation is funny— and it’s not funny. When I asked for a manager she began to make jokes and say “do you want my social security number too?”

Honestly completely inappropriate for business, the way she conducted herself towards a paying customer. For now on I will bring my service to Mondos and definitely let the family know.

Honestly one of my worst experiences at a pizza restaurant. Completely unwelcoming, rude and the pizza is wet, greasy and falls apart. What’s the point of toppings if it all falls off? .. I wouldn’t recommend here to anyone I know.

Food was delicious. The lasagna was chucked full of meat and had just the right amount of cheese and sauce. The chicken francase was amazing. Perfect. The mozzarella sticks were not bad. Not the best we had but good. The sesame bread was hot and fresh. Huge rolls. The salad was good but wouldn't get the house dressing again. It was too vinegary. Other than that we will come back and we even have it booked on calendar to come again.

Some of the best Italian food I have ever had! The Pesto Cream was amazing! The food came out hot, and fresh. I got a build your own Pasta and I cannot describe how favorable it was! It was so so so good!

Most food was amazing, full of flavor, although my penne noodles were not cooked completely and starchy. We ordered a local beer, which we never received, than forgot to ask about, paid for it, when went back in we just traded amount for dessert to go. I believe our server was to preoccupied entwining another table and forgot about us. We were so excited to have amazing opportunity here while from Pa and don't get this chance often.

Way beyond expectations. The food was pretty incredible. Calamari was cooked perfectly. Caprisi was super fresh. I got the lobster ravioli and loved every bite. My parents got fish and couldn't stop eating. The little ones got cheese pizza, which was fine. And the prices were good value.
Issues? Well we had a party of 6 and had to sit separate. It wouldn't take a big adjustment to have 1 bigger table. And the kitchen is really loud. The staff even had trouble hearing our orders. Still one of my favorite restaurants of the year.
