We haven't dined here in awhile but decided to go. This was prior to a movie so that was where we parked. Good selection of local beers and ciders. The menu had plenty to choose from. Stuffed jalapeños was the appetizer followed by a burrito mojado also known as a wet burrito. This was Stuffed with chicken and topped with a Chipotle cream sauce. More than I could eat but made for a great breakfast the next day. Service was a little slow for a slow night and had to ask for our appetizer. Overall a good experience.Parking: It's not difficult to park but it's on Main Street so you may have to walk a little bit.

The appetizer i got - empanada - just did not taste or look very good.I'm the mexican egg roll had better flavor but I wouldn't get that again either. The blueberry pomegranate margarita was yummy but pricy.I'd still go back an try a few other things.

Do not go here unless you want to be disappointed. The drinks were sub par, the house margarita tasted terrible, I returned it & the frozen strawberry margarita was all ice on top & liquid at the bottom. Food was terrible, had to use the bathroom soon after. The service was awful, too & not once did we even get an apology. Total disappointment.

I have been here a couple of times now it’s good but not my favorite. There are a few vegetarian options and lots of drink choices. One thing that was strange was two of the people in my party had watery drinks - both a beer and a margarita. They did replace them when asked to and my butterscotch margarita was pretty good.Vegetarian options: Homemade veggie burger, bean and cheese burrito, spinach and mushroom quesadilla. Poblano corn chowder on special was vegetarian too.

What fun we had. Drinks were good a bit pricey for a place like this. I did not eat so I cannot comment on food. They have a nice section outside as well for nice days or nights. Down town Middletown has lots to offer

Good atmosphere for music and drinks located in downtown middletown, decent menu, food was good but not particularly spectacular

I thought I’d give this place a second try after dining in so I did DoorDash. The service when I dined in was nice, but the food is just awful. I got the veggie fajitas. I’m really never one to complain or eave reviews, but I just spent like $40 for my dinner and it was again a disappointment. I’m starving and can’t even finish it. The veggies aren’t cooked properly, they were cold and drenched in liquid (both when I dined and got delivery). I get that fajitas aren’t supposed to be dry, but this was like soup each time. I also didn’t get rice and beans as a side which has always been a standard at every other Mexican restaurant I’ve been to. I’m also not a fan of the choice of veggies in the fajitas. They put broccoli and carrots in the mix which doesn’t complement the flavors well. Those veggies might work, if they cooked them well. For my delivery, they wrapped the tortillas in foil but stuck it in the plate with all the food, so it got drenched on the outside which made it a nightmare to open and all the cheese got melted to the foil. Overall, the food was wet, sad, and left a lot to be desired. Maybe some of the other dishes are fine, but stay away from the veggie fajitas.

The amount of disappointment in this post is real! I have never had someone disrespect me as much as the bartender at this bar!! Warning: if your bartender looks like he is having a bad day don't order at the bar! I walked in with my date we sat at the bar and waited for 20 min before our order was taken, when the bartender was ready to take our order we first had to hear about his large company party he made all this money on... Then we order the margarita November special but it was not good, it tasted watered down with no flavor at all. we sat there waiting for him to notice we weren't drinking it..so finally I speak up and say "excuse me sorry but is there anyway we could get a regular margarita this one just doesnt taste good'? he looks me cold in the eyes and with a blank face say "NO". I was taken back and even my date looked surprised. At that point I said,"this is just terrible and we just want a regular margarita. he said nothing walked over to the ice, angrily punched a scoop of ice into a glass and made a new one. I felt bad and began to apologize, he stopped me mid sentence and said "you are rude'! again I was taken back and said I tried to ask nice and even tried to apologize... he again stopped me mid sentence and SLAMMED my drink on the bar and said "here is your drink"! I was completely shocked and ready to crack this guys head open but my date calmed me down and I calmly walked out while my date offered to pay..... This is the worst treatment I have ever had in the 20+ years bar hopping and unfortunately I will never walk back into La Boca feeling comfortable. THE MOST OVERDERRATED PLACE IN MIDDLETOWN WITH A LAZY AND "TERRIBLE" BARTENDER. Stay away from the bartender with tattoos all over his face and plugs on his ears and nostrils.(literally him) God Bless
