Waited so long to try OSA culinary and ended up with short rib not available on Valentines menu even it was supposed to be on menu anyway sold out -but host didn’t give a damn after mentioning why it’s not on the menu -his response we don’t sell short ribs -a what ? It was posted on valentines menu when I booked reservation
Instead of short ribs and culinary purées I got
Hanger steak with regular McDonald style French fries -steak was ordered medium chewy as hell I would expect fries at least hand cut homemade Parmesan style something fancier for valentines I bet you could do it if you guys wanted too -
Very disappointed with steak and fries -everything else was ok -never mind deleting my negative comments on social media like instagram or facebook pages -no wonder you guys have only positive reviews there -host didn’t care about my complains at all -sorry Josh -teach your server to serve better - simple fries sucks with chewy steak sorry
Very quaint interior but a little loud.
The steak frites were fantastic. Well flavored, perfectly cooked, the sauce was delicious.
Only downside is it took us an hour from the time we were seated to get our food. It took awhile for the waiter to come to us so we ordered our food right away. He did not check on us again and after a long wait we had to flag him down to ask where our food was. I understand if they were busy, but there was no acknowledgement that the kitchen was busy or backed up, no apology for the long wait.

Been here several times before but this place always impresses. Between the food, the service and the atmosphere you will walk away beyond satisfied. Hats off to Chef Josh and his team for always bringing something new and exciting from the kitchen and to the bartenders who have mastered the classics and always have something new and amazing to try. Will definitely be back for more and hope to continue to do so for many many years to come.
I have been to Osa many many times, and normally, I love their food. So much so, that for most special occasions, I request that we go there. We went on Monday, Jnauary 19 for their Vietnamese pop-up and unfortunately were let down. We got the spring rolls (which fell apart after one bite), the wings (cooked well but the sauce didn't stay on the wings leaving them bland), the pork bahn mi (which was pretty good), and the short rib pho (the meat was very dry, tough and bland and the broth was so-so. This experience wouldn't make me stay away from Osa at all, just something to be mindful of for their pop-ups.
Always a great time at Osa. Love the pop-up dinners! Feels like seeing family every time I'm there! Thank you!
Service here has been top notch every time I've been.

I have eaten here over a dozen times and it remains my favorite restaurant in Connecticut. Can’t recommend highly enough.

LOVE this gem in Middletown! Such an adorable ambiance and look inside. They had a great food and drink menu. Everything we had was very good (pear salad, various dips, breads, oysters, wines). Definitely will come back here, as I want to try more things!

The entire staff was on point all night. Phenomenal cocktails. We had several small plates and the Chicken Milanese. In our opinion, it's one of the very best restaurants in CT. A must visit and easily worth an hour plus ride.
Love, love, love. Great atmosphere and amazing food. Highly recommend pretty much everything on the menu. We eat there often and love it for family celebrations.

We had a wonderful dinner with friends. Apps and dinners were all great. Will be back again.
Osa is a world class restaurant that happens to reside in Middletown, CT. The food is excellent and constantly updated by the season. BEN is the best. We’ve been coming here for several years and he makes us feel at home here, take care of us and goes above and beyond every time. And the atmosphere, somehow every time we’re at OSA, conversations flow better, jokes are funnier, the restaurant just brings out the best in people. Raving review, but it is a special place.

We had a wonderful booth, drinks were great and a fun waiter! We were not impressed with our dinner. The scallops were expensive, small and way overdone. My son had the lasagna and it was also over done and burnt around the edges. For the cost, I don't think we would come again. It was also very loud and we were getting together for the first time catching up and we had a hard time due to the noise level.
Great food, but above all else I was astounded by the BEANNNSSS.

Good place to eat. Staff very friendly. Food is outstanding quality. Can be a little loud at times for conversations. Will definitely return for future visits.
