Quaint and cozy restaurant with fresh, well prepared food. They seem to be a newer establishment still getting used to their processes, but they were very attentive. The drinks were made well. My wife really enjoyed the prosecco in her passion fruit spritz. There were mostly fruity drinks, besides the espresso martini, so I ordered an old fashioned which was delicious (consider adding a whiskey and/or gin drink to the drink menu). The Nachos were hand made and delicious with a sort of black bean meat sauce to compliment the great melted cheesiness. I ordered the chicken Skewer and that was a fantastic and spicy Indian delight (a different presentation of a chicken tikka masala dish). My wife loved the fish tacos, with a great dose of spicy rice to contrast the fresh white fish flavors. We finished the meal with some warmed toffee cookies paired with ice cream, creamy and yummy. Great local tastes and service in this tiny package. Spread the word, and pay a visit before they get so popular you won't be able to get a table.

We had a party of four eat there for lunch on a Saturday. We ordered six different items and everyone of them was great. All four people agreed it was amazing. Awesome mixed drinks too. We will be back and also recommend to all.

Best fries I’ve had in a long time - they’re fried in tallow and you can tell, perfectly crisp. The place was really cozy and the service was great, we’ll definitely be back!

Sol House Tavern has a great casual but upscale atmosphere. The food was fantasic as well as the best Esspresso Martini I’ve ever had. Service was great and everyone there was just fantastic!

I stopped in today for lunch. I ordered the burger with fries and a beer. The burger was melt in your mouth delicious. The service was amazing and the atmosphere and music were so relaxing and kind of swept you away to enjoy a relaxed lunch. I recommend a meal anytime of day or evening at this fine eatery. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

I want to start by saying I read the reviews, and most of the negative reviews are for the old restaurant, Relish. My husband and I are new to Middletown and ate here for lunch a few weeks ago, so I’m a little late on the review. We went almost as soon as they opened and arrived just before noon. We were greeted warmly and told we could seat ourselves (not sure if that’s always the case). The staff was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the fried chicken steam buns as an appetizer, and they were delicious. My husband ordered the spicy crispy chicken, and I ordered the panko parm crusted cod. My husband said his sandwich was one of the best he’s ever had, and the cod was incredible (cooked perfectly). The mashed potatoes and veggies it came with were delicious. We will definitely be making this a regular spot for dining out. Do yourself a favor and check this place out, especially if you had a less than satisfying experience while this location was Relish. Amazing experience. The ambiance is lovely— classy and intimate. The two owners are so kind and outgoing; they’re very sweet people. Last, but DEFINITELY NOT LEAST— the food… oh my goodness was it good!!! I ordered the vodka rigatoni. Definitely will be coming back whenever I am in town. If I could rate higher, I would! We had Sol House Tavern for the first time tonight and I have to say that I’m very impressed with the food and the staff. We ordered out but we both got the Sol House burger with fries and it was amazing. The chef in the kitchen was very respectful and seemed to take pride in his cooking skills. We also got the house made ranch which was really good and went well with both the burgers and the fries. It’s a great little place for a date night and has a calm atmosphere. 10/10 will be going back and I’m very pleased with the overall experience
