Sliders Grill & Bar - Middletown, CT

I wanted to express my sincere appreciation for the excellent experience we consistently have at Sliders Middletown. As a convenient halfway point for my two friends and me, we have the option to choose any bar within a 25-mile radius, yet we always gravitate towards your Middletown location. This is not only due to your excellent wings and beer selection but also because of the consistently outstanding service we receive. In particular, we always request Rachel as our waitress. In our opinion, she is the best server there. Her positive attitude is infectious, she always makes us feel incredibly welcome, and she is exceptionally attentive to our needs. Her dedication to providing such excellent service is very important to us and truly embodies the qualities one looks for in a server, reflecting very positively on Sliders. Because of the consistently great service, particularly from Rachel, we make it a point to visit Sliders Middletown at least once a month, and often more frequently. Food was great, place was clean, all the waitress wanted to do is talk to her girlfriend, never came to check on us to see how our food was, if we wanted a second drink. Finally asked the other waitress for our check, that must of pissed her off she had to stop talking to her friend , ...sorry if we bothered her!

Ashley knocked it out of the park! Came for a birthday celebration and she served up happiness and handled this handsome bunch with lots of love & fun! Had my fav wings…buffalo blue. So delicious and a tasty cocktail recommendation from Ashley a boozy Arnold Palmer (on the $3) menu. Recommend!

We go here a lot and I will say we do enjoy the food. Although today we sat down and waited for someone to come greet us. We waited over 15 minutes before asking if someone was going to help us but by than we already decided to go to hard hats. We do have patience but when there was four waitress standing there talking about their day and even looked at us multiple times with eye contact and nothing was said to us, not even acknowledge we will be with you, is very unacceptable.

I usually go to the Wallingford location but was in the area of this one. The service here was just as bad or worse than Wallingford. It must just be a Sliders thing. I ordered mild buffalo wings for my 9yo and they brought him the hot ones (not even medium) without rectifying it. The kids meals come with dessert but the waitress brought us the bill without asking if we wanted them. Service was slow just like Wallingford and waitress was barely around despite not being busy. I wouldn't go back except for maybe takeout.

Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu with some staples but the service isn't great for kids.
