Our experience is always exceptional. The food is amazing. And the staff always treat the customers with kindness. I'm constantly recommending this establishment to our family, friends and colleagues. Kudos Stella D'oro 😎💕
Stopped by here for lunch on a Friday. The place was empty but the lone waiter immediately sprung into action and have us seated. The architecture inside is quite unique. The waiter told us this used to be an opera house when it first opened 50 years ago. Given that we are the only table in the restaurant, I wasn't sure if the food is good. They brought out a basket of warm toasted breads. I ordered the Pasta e Fagioli (Italian bean soup) and it was delicious. The soup was full of fresh ingredients, with fresh vegetables, beans, small slices of pancetta. For main course, I had the Cavatelli, served with sausage, broccoli rabe, cherry peppers. The broth was thin and not oily. It has just the right amount of saltiness and acidity. The pasta was perfectly cooked to al dente. My mom ordered the Mediterranean salad with arugula and goat cheese. She also enjoyed her dish. I will definitely come back and try their dinner menu.
What a fun atmosphere, beautiful old building! Food and drinks were excellent and service was top notch
First time here and we will definitely be going back... I'm a vegetarian and tweaked one of the dishes. They are fabulous with any special orders. The drinks are delicious as well. Waiter was very attentive and went above and beyond.
It was some of the worst Italian food I've ever had. They really need to have somebody in the kitchen that can taste the food before it goes out.
The portions were large. The pasta al dente. The seating was not immediate, even though we had a reservation. The supporting wait staff was attentive. However, the entire experience was colored by our waiter, who was very arrogant; to the point of throwing our dessert menu at us. When I questioned what the last item on the desert menu was, he was super arrogant. Unbelievable.
We had a very pleasant dinner with good cocktails, appetizers, dinner entrées, bottle of wine and dessert. A nice full night. Our servers were very good and attentive. There were a lot of good menu items that we liked so we will be returning to try more of them.
We had a lovely graduation lunch with family from out of town. They absolutely loved the food. Thank you for being so accommodating.
Went for Mother’s Day. Food was fantastic. Service was a little slow. Waitstaff were very good. Food was so good we would definitely recommend this restaurant. Will be back!
Food was great! Our server was good when he was around, but disappeared regularly and never came back with our check.

The service to all the appetizers and our meals were great. The waiter was very good, along with bread at the table was very warm. The drinks were served with no issues and our desserts and coffee were very good.
I booked a table for 7 pm and as we were early we went to the bar. We sat for 10 minutes and were totally ignored. Then a couple came in and sat at the next y2 seats. The bartender?( for want of a better word) immediately brought them place mats and silverware. When i pointed out that we'd been sitting there for 10 minutes, he apologized and brought some for us. He then disappeared and, on return, took their drinks order and left us waiting again. By this time it was time to get our table anyway. I went to the hostess and my name was not in the list, even though i had confirmation on my phone. She said were no tables free in the dining room but there were 2 high tops by the bar. When she confirmed that were we to sit there, our order would be taken by the “bartender”, we promptly left. The most disgusting experience i've ever had at a restaurant. You have been warned.
Our waiter Nick was fantastic and made our night so memorable. We loved it!
The food & service were excellent. We arrived at 5 pm for dinner and there was hardly anybody there but as the evening proceeded it got rather noisey. Unfortunately, there are a lot of hard surfaces that amplify the sound of loud voices. Unfortunately, as people get older and have hearing issues, they tend to talk louder! The restaurant should look into ways of reducing the noise level.
We were here to celebrate a milestone birthday and Stella D'Oro did not disappoint! The food was delicious and the staff was so accommodating! We will definitely be back.
