I absolutely LOVE Tates! We have been over 15 times and it never disappoints! The food is delicious and the cocktails are divine! We are usually in a large group and the service is always spot on. The servers are calm and easy going while being very attentive. The brunch is spectacular, too! I highly recommend Tate's for any occasion...cocktails on the water, Sunday brunch or group gathering. They are the BEST!!

While I'd love to give 5 stars, I can only muster up 4. I had high hopes for this beautiful historic location but it's very loud and difficult to have a conversation. Service is meh but the wait staff are constantly on the move. The food is ok but on the expensive side.

the location is nice and the restaurant is very cute inside. however the food is very overpriced for what you get and it wasn’t exceptional in taste either. the wait for a table was long and the workers were not very friendly. it’s a shame because the place has potential but some improvements need to be made!!

Extremely busy. Enter facing reception desk a foot in front of you. Hostess has to take names, run to seat people and help with dishes and glassware. Food took too long and was average . Left w/o receipt as waiter was helping in bar. Overall has potential but needs to staff efficiently.

Came in on a Sunday at the end of brunch, Waited 40 minutes at the bar for a table outside, We were also waiting for the actual food menu to begin and brunch the end. The bar was excellent, Great service by Jana. When we moved outside our server was Erin, I asked Erin Specifically to have Jana make my drink the same way she made it inside. After waiting 20 minutes for our drinks, the drink arrived completely incorrect, made by someone else, in a different glass and taste was not even close to what i asked for. When i spoke to the server about my issue she snapped at me and told me to calm down before storming off. I spoke to several other employees before i spoke to my server because she was no where to be found. I was so bothered by the way that my server spoke to me that I went inside to speak to a manager. the manager then informed me that the server said that I was aggressive and creating a conflict. Evan the manager, Seem to not believe my side of things, And told me that I was the problem because Erin said I was being confrontational. After I receive the correct drink I went back outside to my table To find that my muscles had just arrived. I ordered my muscles modified without pork, The muscle broth tasted like a chard grill, Completely inedible Which I spit out. When I asked Liam The host who was an absolute delight from the beginning of our experience, To go find somebody to speak to he sent Erin back out , erin started to argue with us about the kind of people we are and how we cant be satisfied and that there was nothing wrong with the food or drinks. I politely asked her to send the manager out and that we did not want anything else, and to cancel our entrees. I went to elis for lunch and walked clear across town to support your business because elis was closed for a private event. Im disgusted by how i was treated. Jana at the bar was amazing and so was liam at the host stand. Everything else 0.
