This is hands down the best Thai food in Connecticut, if you know you know, even though it is a 100% vegan restaurant. I’m vegan and biased but you can easily do a search and see the restaurant is award winning. If you’re looking for amazing plant based food, you don’t have to be vegan to enjoy the amazing food and hospitality offered at Aroy Thai Garden. If you’re close to Middletown, or even if you’re far it’s worth a drive. Sometimes it can be busy so make sure to make a reservation especially if you’re traveling from far away, as many people do for this food. Not only is their space super cute, they often are available for delivery on Uber Eats, and even just recently started a meal prep delivery service I cannot wait to try! From Pad Thai to Pad Ped Pa to their vegan duck teriyaki, my family can’t get enough of this place. A must try!!!

Deeeeeeelicious food ! Had a great Valentine's date with wifey. Will definitely return. Only one thing I would suggest is replace the chairs that are used at tables as they are not comfortable at all. They would be fine for children but not adults for an hours time. The booths are great though . So , get a booth when you go and ENJOY the amazing food.

Aroy is incredible and one of my favorite restaurants in CT. The owner is incredibly sweet, friendly, and accommodating and you can see how much passion and love she has for her business.
Their tom yum noodles are my favorite entree, but you really can't go wrong with any of their offerings. Their portions are huge and we always end up having leftovers which is great.
I've taken non-vegan friends here and they've all loved the food. After all, good food is good food! You don't have to be vegan to enjoy plant-based eating.

My boyfriend and I made reservations for Valentine’s Day. The food was absolutely incredible. I ordered the Yellow Curry (with Fried Tofu) and my boyfriend ordered the Vegetable Stir Fry (with Fried Tofu.) We did wait a little longer than anticipated, for our food, but the wait was absolutely worth it. 10/10 and would definitely come again.

Delicious Thai food that happens to be vegan! We had the red curry with duck and drunk noodles, both were flavorful and fresh. Easily enjoyed by vegans and non-vegans alike. If you’re in the Middletown area, don’t miss this yummy spot!

Wish I could give this place more stars, but frankly the service was just plain BAD. The food was good, relatively standard thai fare, the vegan protein options are nice. But the service? My god, SLOW SLOW SLOW, and completely inattentive. The waitress was pleasant, seems like a very nice girl, but just wasn't doing her job, she literally disappeared after we got our entrees (which came out nearly 15 minutes apart btw...) and I had to go to the register to get someone for the bill. The male waiter straight up ignored me when I tried to get his attention, twice. So because of this, we ended up not even ordering a dessert. I'd skip this place if you're on a date, or expect good service.

Amazing to see a fully vegan Thai restaurant. The options are endless and the food is so yummy. The cream cheese wontons and orange “chicken” is my favorite. If I lived in CT, I would be here all the time. Everyone (vegan or not) should give it a try!

This place is definitely a new favorite staple of mine, and should be for every vegan and non-vegan in the are.
Took my daughter here with a friend for her 2nd birthday. The toddlers absolutely loved the tofu “fish” balls (they were genuinely very good). The staff were very nice and attentive, the decor was beautiful and entertaining for the girls. My friend and I had delicious meals and felt very comfortable and happy eating there. The variety and creativity of food was absolutely amazing. I can’t wait to go back and try more.
