I stopped in for a sandwich on the go. I'll definitely be back. Great atmosphere, good sandwich, friendly staff.

Pickle stand rating is dropping with its menu changes. Every sandwich I've had here is good, sides were always meh. Since the place has made their menu ala carte, the lunch cost has doubled. $45 for lunch, I won't be returning.

Great sandwichs.

There's nothing bad to say about this really cool spot in Middletown. It has a cool vibe. Really welcoming staff and patrons. And the best roastbeef on rye that I have ever had. The roast beef melts in your mouth. I've also had their Turkey on rye. Its equally amazing. We will go back again and again. They have a niche and stick to it. Sandwiches, pickles, soft drinks, wine and beer. No burgers or fried food. THEY DON'T NEED IT. I've heard their chicken salad is amazing too but only made in the summer. I can't wait to try it. They also have dart boards and music Fridays and Saturdays. Support this business and you won't be disappointed.

Amazing sandwiches! Chicken cutlets and corned beef are both on point. Their hours are a little random.. so if you catch them while they're open, make sure and stop! Owner is a good guy! Good local beers too :)

THE best place in Middletown for a sandwich. Meats are exceptional and great beer on tap and an unparalleled bar staff.

This is a nice little hole in the wall place. The lighting is dim and the food is good. The food is pretty simple, sandwiches. Ruebens, Lauren's, and a few other varieties as well. They have potato salad as well as pickles. The pickle that came with my sandwich (a breaded chicken patty on rye with thousand island dressing and pickled jalepenos) was a typical dill. I didn't ask if they made them there, but I assume they do if you can buy pickles by the jar. The sandwich was a good combination of flavors and a bit messy. The prices are pretty nice, $11.50 includes a drink and a bag of Lays. They do have 8 beers on tap, but it was a bit early for me to have a beer. All in all, it's a nice, cozy place with a neighborhood feel to it. I would go back there again.

Just ate the most delicious lunch from the Pickle Stand! The potato salad was perfect and the Kosher Dill pickles are my all time favorite!

A bit small but very good food and polite staff. If you go on a weekend you can hear any one of the local bands play

Stopped by for lunch. Ordered the beast. The sandy lived up to its name. A hulking, bulking meaty mass of pastrami and corned beef barely contained by fresh rye. A sandwich lovers sandwich.
