I’ve been coming here for many years and it’s always perfection. They genuinely care about the quality they put out and how their customers feel about the experience. 10/10 and I recommend it to everyone!

I recently tried the South Indian thali and it was amazing! The thali had a mix of different tasty dishes like rice, bhindi masala, eggplant curry, dal, rasam, chapathi ,crunchy papadums and sweet dishes. The desserts especially suji halwa was very tasty. Everything tasted delicious. There service was great too. If you love Indian food, you should definitely check out the thali at Udipi Bhavan.

My first experience trying dosa and I was impressed! This is a decent size restaurant in a plaza, and it had a steady crowd even though we dined later on a Sunday. Every table had an order of dosa and after trying it I can understand why. The dosa was filling and flavorful. A hidden gem!

The best vegetarian South Indian food in America, not just in Connecticut. I have tried South Indian food in different restaurants across the country but no other restaurant comes close to Udupi Bhavan. The owner, Prabakar ji is very gentle and hardworking. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to try authentic South Indian food.

It's probably the only vegetarian restaurant in Connecticut with Good South Indian food at reasonable prices, no doubt . They call your number when the food is ready, and then it's self-serve from the counter to your table. Cutlery are disposable

Happy Diwali! Just finished feasting on dosa, pakora, rasam and channa bhature. Fantastic! Owners speak Tamil so be prepared for a South Indian spiced dishes. So will be spicy for those not accustomed. Great food and super friendly service.
