The burgers at Wayback Burgers in Middletown proved to be underwhelming, lacking the distinction one might hope for when paying a premium. Despite the staff’s kindness, the overall atmosphere suffered from a frustrating “hurry up and wait” dynamic, exacerbated by the evident understaffing. Service delays detracted from the experience, and the noticeably high prices did not match the level of service provided. Cleanliness also left much to be desired, with tables not being properly cleaned between guests, which further impacted the dining environment. Overall, while the staff remained friendly, the combination of mediocre food, slow service, and an uncomfortable setting made for a disappointing visit.

My friend and I got minor food poisoning after eating here. The food was just alright.
Edit: came back to try it again and the food was awful across the board. Two different mains and 3 sides were all trashed. Stomach aches after eating the small bit we did. Never coming back.

Made a pit stop here. Their were lots of to go orders so we were hopeful. The service was friendly. Bathroom was surprisingly not bad. The biggest con here was the guys cooking had on plastic gloves. But no use because they touched everything with them on. Not the cleanest, also not worth the price. Just an ok burger. One of our three milk shakes tasted like a cup of pure milk. No ice cream or flavor.

Though pricey, the food and service is top-notch. My partner had the Impossible Burger, which provided a Vegan option. The shakes were delicious, as were the onion rings.

Overall very easy eating experience. The gentlemen behind the counter are polite and considerate. They were happy to accommodate the kids with lettuce-wrapped burgers. For a quick stop, the food was excellent and the outer seating nice alongside the flowering trees. Want a quick lunch? This is the place!
Bathroom had zero toilet paper had zero hand soap there are no napkins in the to-go area when I told the staff I apologize cuz they were out when I could clearly see a stack of napkins sitting right behind the glass 10 ft from me

I saw the poster for chili cheese dogs in the window. I had to try it. The first problem is they’re eight bucks for each hotdog. That’s a lot. The second problem is …It isnt a hotdog! It’s a thick rubbery cheap nasty kielbasa. Not the good kind y’all ….its the two dollar Hormel always on sale kind. Eww. This is what I paid eight dollars for. It was cut in half and chewy. I went to the counter to say something to the guy and all of a sudden he didn’t understand English. The fries were OK ….i won’t be going back.
