As I write this, I see that Bella Napoli only has 2.5 stars, and that seems unfair to me. We've gotten food from Bella Napoli with some degree of regularity since the '90s, and we have always loved their calzones--our personal favorite thing there. They're huge and delicious. We really like their meatball and eggplant parm grinders and their cold cut grinders, and the pizza--not gonna blow your socks off, but it's good. Always great customer service--the woman who answers the phone has always been sweet, and the delivery has ALWYAS been lightning fast.

There must be different owners from this location from the Stratford. My bf came w/ a burnt pie. It was a Philly cheesesteak pie. The top & bottom was burnt.He told me he thinks heard 1 of the workers say they burnt it. Instead of checking the box before he left he didn't. How can someone give us a burnt pie? Very disappointed! Didn't stay to eat had take out. There is inside seating. Nothing spectacular! Please do better giving out burnt food isn't nice to your customers. Food is expensive & my bf just wasted his. We live in Bridgeport or else I would took it back.

Five stars because all the employees are so very friendly and kind. We went there for my niece's birthday. She has severe allergies making eating out difficult. Our waiter and the kitchen staff made her a pizza with her special cheese that she can eat, and made sure there was no cross contamination with the pizzas they made for the rest of us or those they made for other customers (not easy or convenient to do in a busy pizza restaurant). They were kind, our waiter was nice and even offered to take pics for our birthday celebration ....and when we sang happy birthday the staff and all the equally happy customers joined in. The pizza was good, and everyone had a good time. Will def. Be going back. Such a friendly family vibe!

A few weeks ago, we ordered pizza for lunch. I ordered online and chose 1 large regular pie and 1 gluten free. I triple checked that 1 pie was gluten free. We got the pies, my husband had some of the "gluten free" pie and remarked how good it tasted. We'll, it was not gluten free. He paid the price for that a few hours later for about 24 hrs. I understand that there can be cross-contamination in a kitchen, and that is acceptable to his celiac disease, a gluten pie is not. I sent an email advising what happened and to be more careful. I heard nothing back. Saying all that, the pies were good.

The place went downhill, the pizza has had plastic pieces in it recently. Can hurt a tooth or mess up your intestines. They don’t really care, they asked if it was from a few days ago so this is obviously an ongoing problem they don’t care about. Along with the fact they often will add toppings to pre cooked cheese pizzas, resulting in a old and stale tasting pizza. Anywhere else is a better option

It was a pretty lazy Tuesday night for me and I did not feel like cooking. I’m a vegetarian so I ordered a large eggplant pizza with basil pesto sauce. The Pizza was Phenomenal! It was baked to perfection. It was still warm even though I arrived late. The pesto sauce was so yummy. (not sure if it contains nuts but my sister with a nut allergy took a bite and she was okay- please ask prior) the eggplant was crispy but not burnt. The crust is edible. It was so good I wish I ordered two. Even my daughter who is a picky eater ate it! The service was fine, two youngins. pizza shop vibes were there.I would definitely order from there again.I took it to work the next day and ate a small piece of it cold. So scrumptious.

Their food’s good, but their prices on their website is not updated. A grinder costs 5 dollars more then the upper range of the price they have posted for a steak and cheese grinder. I don’t think they’ve updated their prices online since Covid so buyers beware.

The pizza is OK, but the meals are atrocious. I had Eggplant rolatini. Gross :sloppy ricotta, dry, eggplant flavorless. Next to me was Chicken Parm and Veal parm. Both were store bought Patties. Garlic knots had no garlic.

I ENJOYED EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS RESTAURANT!!!! While visiting my Sister and Mom during the Labor Day Weekend, in Milford, CT; my sister recommended Bella Napoli. I'm so glad she did because the grinder & pizzas were so deliiiiiiiish! What was even more impressive, was meeting the owner, Joe, who treated me like a VIP, and appreciated my business as well as being a Veteran! ????

ordered a pizza wings and a soda. 2 liter soda was forgotten. The driver specifically told me he was coming back, instead of the driver calling to say he wasn't coming back I had to call for them to tell me there were too busy to bring back my soda which was not right to me and my children. It wasn't my fault the driver did not pay attention to the receipt and forgot my soda for him to not come back was not right at all and I was told it was the MANGERS DECISION and gave me credit .. bad business!! .... My soda should have been brought back that was not OK
