I was traveling through the beautiful town of Milford and came across this small coffee shop in the Connecticut Post Mall. The young lady behind the counter was making some sort of pastry and it smelled fabulous. I tried a caramel double espresso and it was very good. I also had a slice of the red velvet cake. It was magnificent! I'm from the south, and know good red velvet cake...this is it. The cake practically melted in your mouth and the frosting was so rich and sweet. It was definitely not commercially made; more like Nana's kitchen. Nice atmosphere, friendly counter lady, reasonable prices, great coffee, and fantastic cake.

If nothing else, this restaurant is consistent — consistently disinterested, consistently questionable, and consistently unaware of how food should taste. The dish I ordered had the texture of a memory and the flavor of lost potential. At one point, a mouse wandered by my table, presumably to check on how I was doing. Honestly, it showed more concern than the staff did. Honestly, it seemed more qualified to run the kitchen. The service had the warmth of a parking ticket, and the staff gave off the distinct vibe that diversity was something they read about once and decided against. All in all, a great place to visit if you’re curious what dining might be like in a post-apocalyptic airport terminal.

I got a crepe with banana, strawberry and Nutella. After I paid she let me know there was no banana, which is fine but they do charge $1 extra for three toppings over 2 which I didn’t get refunded. After receiving the crepe, it was very small compared to other places even in Milford that serve crepes, and the “Nutella” was definitely not Nutella, tasted very bad and the texture was off. Strawberries not very ripe. Overall worst crepe I’ve ever had and would recommend going to any other crepe place in Milford over this one.

I ordered an Avocado Toast with a Sunny Side Up egg and I got a fried egg instead! I had to explain to them what’s a Sunny Side up is and they were very rude and argued that it was how they make it I asked for a refund! He told me he had to throw it out and it was a waste of food and I told him I was not going to eat something I didn’t want! Not going back simply because they were rude

Got a Nutella and strawberry croissant with a side of ice cream and it was amazing! Lady who served me was super friendly and asked me extra questions to make sure I got what I wanted. 100% recommend new favorite dessert place!
The food taste a year old and is raw. The owner (lady with the short white hair) is the rudest person I’ve ever met and the workers have an attitude. Customer service is part of business too and that lady is seriously miserable. I don’t usually leave bad reviews but save your time and money and don’t bother with this place.

My mother asked if the coffee was fresh, and the owner scolded her and told her to leave and that she wouldn't be served. Owner called security on an 80 year grandmother who was just asking if the coffee was fresh or not. I guess we know the coffee probably wasn't.
