So we had a sm pepperoni and appetizer Meatball delivered in record time. As a first time customer, both meals were spectacular, and arrived hot and had plenty for leftovers! I am a self-proclaimed pizza connoisseur. I definitely rate this pizza way high for taste! First, The sauce and toppings blended so well, and the crust was just right golden and crispy! The meatball appetizer is also quite impressive with a spectacular presentation!!! Bravo cast iron chef kitchen and Bar! My next adventure with you will be sitting in the restaurant for a meal!

Cute place. Slow service. She didn't come by the table often. Was hard to get refills. But overall good experience, I know its hard with larg groups.I had the mash potato pizza with broccoli and really enjoyed it.My boyfriend had a spicy long hot pizza, he didn't care for the red sauce.

Cast Iron Chef Kitchen and Bar in Milford has an extensive menu which includes an incredible, spectacular, thin crust, cast-iron pizza, Italian specialties, salads, and a wide assortment of appetizers. The atmosphere is spacious and the staff is friendly. We ordered the delectable homemade lasagna, a flavorful filet mignon cheeseburger, the margarita pizza with Basil and a warm brownie for dessert. Everything was fresh and delicious. The service was wonderful and the owner Attilio continues to be the consummate host who truly cares about his customers!

Outstanding service, and great cocktails. While it was good, the food is nowhere near as exceptional as the original Cast Iron in New Haven. The location is not ideal, mall announcements throughout the meal tarnish the experience, and the parking situation is a mess. Would definitely recommend during a shopping spree at the mall but not for a dinner out with friends.

My fiancé and I went to Cast Iron Chef on a whim one day while in Milford after hearing great reviews. When we walked inside, we were the only ones, and were quickly greeted. The waitress was friendly and brought over some delicious popcorn for us to snack on. The atmosphere seemed a bit cold and was not too inviting. We started by splitting a cast iron wedge, which was good, but nothing to write home about. For dinner, my fiancé got the cheeseburger, which he said was okay, but again, nothing special. I got the sausage, onion and peppers pie which I truly thought was delicious! The crust was nice and crunchy, I think that baking it in cast iron, definitely gives it a special quality that normal pizza doesn't have. I think that when ordering the specialities that Cast Iron Chef offers, you cant go wrong.

Great service, exceptional meal for the price. Have already dined at their main restaurant so I knew it would be great and it was!

Food was bland. Pizza was disappointing, they couldn't get a basic margarita right.

After my eye appointment, I stopped for a pizza at Cast Iron Chef. I ordered Grandmas Tomato Pie & it was delicious! The sauce tasted differently from New Haven's Pizza places, but it really tasted good. I will be back!

What a great place to eat at! My dad got their massive meatball. It was delicious! My mom got their plain pizza which was excellent! My wife got their 5 oz burger with fries. The burger was so flavorful and the fries were amazing too! I got their mac n cheese skillet that was just so tasty! Overall, the service, atmosphere and styling was great! I just wish it was closer to home!

I'm drooling just thinking about how good everything was! The whole staff was amazing. Steaks done to perfection and who knew I needed dessert in a cast iron . Definitely will be back

Honestly, it's exactly what I would expect from a mall restaurant. The decor is fun, as is the concept of everything cooked in cast iron, but the pizza was severely lacking. The sauce was flavorless, and when the Grandma's pizza only had sauce and hunks of garlic cloves you can imagine how disappointed we were. I did like how crispy and thin the pizza was at least, and the mushroom and bacon pizza was my favorite of the three we got (probably because the toppings took away from the sauce). I was also not a fan of the French onion soup I ordered; again pretty flavorless for this soup. The beer selection was pretty good though, as was the brownie we got for my husband's birthday. Our waiter was also very nice and attentive. I will say, I was also surprised that for a bigger restaurant that has pizza and an extensive kids menu (meaning they assume a lot of families will attend) there was no changing table in the bathroom. Overall, very average. I'd probably enjoy it more just as a bar.

Went to Cast Iron last night. Had family visiting from Colorado and friends some who have never been there before. The pizza was amazing & the service was absolutely spectacular. The owner offered to move our table closer so we could be near the band Shameless. Our waitress Lauren was stellar and was absolutely on point!! Very friendly. Pizza was delicious!! Highly recommend. I would like to see some heaters outside for more outdoor events!!

I was here from out of town and a friend suggested this place for dinner. I decided to try it since it was near my hotel. I went in last night - a Tuesday night - and was seated. The waitress brought me a teeny bowl of stale popcorn, and then I never saw her again. I waited a solid 15 minutes for her to come back and take my order ... and she needs did. I left. I never tried the pizza. Don't care now. I'll never go back.

I have been wanting to try for a while and there are certainly mixed reviews but 3 of us went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We got there shortly after they opened and were seated immediately. Overall the staff and our waiter (maybe Dirk or Derek) was wonderful. We ordered the Arthur Ave salad, grandma's tomato pie, and a spicy meatball pie. The salad came quickly and we waited a little longer for the pizza then I would have guessed but not too long. I will say that there was probably 5-10 minute delay between the two pizzas coming. The salad was excellent and would go back again even just for that! The pizza was good - different but good - and would go back for that again as well. Loved the whole cloves on garlic on the Grandma's tomato pie and, if you wondering, the spices meat balls were very mild - which was totally good! Eating a piece of meatball by itself there was a little heat was hard to "taste" the heat with the sauce and crust. We would definitely go back.
