Had Christine (and her husband Pete) cater my wedding on 10/10/25. From the moment we went for the tasting we were excited to have them prepare dinner for our guests. They did not disappoint. Appetizers were soo good I could have eaten them for dinner alone. Food was cooked perfectly and plates were visually satisfying down to the rosemary garnish. They even went above and beyond to do a few special requests! Amazing couple and amazing company. I would highly recommend their services.

I would 100% recommend them for any event and especially for weddings. I've never had such good wedding food and they were an absolute pleasure to work with. We just got married at the end of May this year, and the food provided by Christine's was fantastic. The presentation was amazing, and the staff day of was great. We had stations and the execution was fantastic. We received so many compliments on the food. The cocktail hour choices were awesome, and so unique as well. The only reason this isn't a five-star review is because communication with Christine's was difficult. It took multiple calls and emails to get a hold of Pete, and when we finally did, he came off bothered that we were calling. At one point we were calling so we could send the final payment, and needed to know what the amount was we owed. It took a few weeks for him to get back to us with that information. Pete is a nice guy, but just the communication over important details was a bit of a struggle. We do recommend as their food, and day of service was great, just be prepared to have a bit of difficulty with communication during the planning stages.

From the very beginning, Pete, Emma, and the rest of their team were so responsive, fielding countless nervous emails and calls from me while always answering my questions and reassuring me that they had everything under control. Emma coordinated the day to perfection and made it run so smoothly, we always had someone attending to us, and I might just trust her with my life! The food was 10/10....the passed appetizers were what dreams are made of, and our guests are still talking about how much they loved all the food. We recently got married in August 2023 at Branford House in Groton, CT.Catering by Christine was really difficult to work with throughout the wedding process. It would take weeks and sometimes more than a month to get a response from them via email. We later found that calling was more successful. The tasting was great but again- hard to get in touch with them to confirm the details.As things got closer to the wedding date we struggled again with getting the final balance from them. And 2 weeks before the wedding we were shocked at the balance. The charge for the dessert and the rental costs were a big surprise to us as well. Pete had also added in extra staff costs due to the size of our wedding. We had not realized what these items were going to cost. For example, If I had known that plain white tablecloths were about $22/each to rent (we had over 22 tables) I would have sourced those elsewhere or budgeted differently. For someone who budgeted very closely throughout the process this was an upsetting experience.To make things worse- Pete called us the night before the wedding to ask for some information that was missing. This required 2-3 hours of work for us to do on the night of our rehearsal dinner. It was extremely disappointing.The day of went well for the most part. Pete was professional and the service was great, food was great, presentation was beautiful. We had a large wedding and everyone was happy with their meals. The only issue we had was we ordered sheet cake to be sliced and passed around, and the catering staff couldn’t locate the sheet cakes. I’m not sure how that could be possible since they went into the fridge upon delivery. Regardless, our guests weren’t able to have the cake we ordered.Overall lack of communication and disorganization from catering by Christine was the biggest issue from start to finish. If we had known this or that, we would have budgeted differently and made sure to include certain information way in advance. This was our first time getting married and there were a lot of intricacies (and some basics) that we were not aware of.Due to the tears and stress the last few weeks leading up to the wedding caused by catering by Christine I overall would not recommend them.

It could be hard to get ahold of Pete at times during the busy season, but do not let that deter you as the food is amazing. Our guests were all complimenting the food all night and for weeks after! They paid close attention to every detail, making sure across vendors everything was accounted for, the staff were friendly kind and a pleasure to work with - especially our day of lead Emma, who went above and beyond and was a joy! On top of the fabulous service the food was spectacular, our guests couldn’t stop raving about how great everything was and are still telling us it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. We hired Catering by Christine for our July wedding. At first I was very excited, we had a great tasting in which we were joined by our parents and everyone had a great experience first meeting Pete Biondi. Leading up to the wedding was where things went awry. I had multiple unanswered emails/questions unanswered. No assistance on event rentals, pricing, etc as they claimed they would assist with. I took it upon myself to walk through the event rental warehouse myself which was amazing and they sent me pricing and everything was itemized. I also changed the quantity on our contract when it was time to sign and Pete sent the incorrect maximum and I have several screenshots of me asking for a revised copy with correct amounts in which still that was never sent. I got very worried so the month before I hired a day of coordinator because that was the only thing that was settling me. At that rate, truthfully I stopped attempting to reach out to the catering company even for our final decisions etc. I assumed at the point and time they would come to me when they're ready to have a conversation. The week and half before my coordinator handled helping me get our food options and numbers out. I was interested in add-on's but again until I requested I still didn't even get pricing with it etc. Long story short, the day before the wedding my coordinator and I even sat down and had a phone conversation with Pete which I was so incredibly shocked at how rude he was to me and I had no stress my entire party planning until the day before which I felt was such a shame for letting this caterer get to me that way. He was very unclear for days leading up finishing up costs etc. not properly itemizing things for me and answering my questions it was so incredibly bizarre. During this day before conversation I thought we even came to an understanding and I confirmed that what we discussed (and was placed in a follow-up email) was what we were having PRINTED on our menus. None the less, we got him down in price which to me was a bit shady but a few more things the day of our wedding: Items were changed, he changed the pasta we requested he claimed he was comping us, he did not include a dessert he claimed he had to still charge us for, he even changed our salmon entree as well. Needless to say several items did not end up matching what was on our menu. Pete again, was extremely rude to my coordinator and yelled at her to not speak to his staff at all, and was rude to my MOTHER IN LAW when it came to handing him the paycheck. He actually made her show him her bank account. I'm so utterly embarrassed by the lack of professional that came out of this vendor. Our cocktail hour also wasn't properly displayed at allowing bugs to get all over everything. I was deeply disappointed it felt like the food I was eating was pure leftovers. I luckily had a great experience with my other vendors although wish the unfortunate experience wasn't with one of the main vendors. That's all I can say! Word of advice: Hire someone you feel comfortable with and is responsive and answers all of your questions. I feel that this company is completely false advertising.

We provided family recipes to the team both for the hors d'oeuvres and the entrées. Catering by Christine KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK. 5 years later (this review is extremely overdue) and people STILL talk about how incredible the food was at our wedding. We are so grateful for how special and memorable they made our wedding meal and hope that many, many others are able to enjoy their outstanding services.
