Listen, no one enters Cracker Barrel expecting a Michelin starred experience. I go for some country cooking that won't have me hungry two hours later. Even way in Connecticut, when it was time for breakfast my friend suggested a fail safe and I accepted without hesitation. I was actually surprised to find items on the menu that I'd never seen before at any of the Texas locations I frequent. The service was quick and friendly. The god was filling and delicious, as expected, and the bill was cheap. Honestly, what more can you ask for?

This rating is for this visit only. Normally it is easily a four out of five stars for dining here. I usually get breakfast but decided to have the steak burger, in order to try something new. On a previous visit, I had the chicken fried steak and it was good so , why not. It wasn't entirely bad, just overcooked and needed seasoning. Everyone else's meals were good. The service is good as usual and they are always busy which is a good sign. I will come back as this place is good way more often then not and I am sure my rating will change.

Visited this location on recent trip through New England. As usual my wife and I enjoyed their pancakes and coffee and they were both good as ever! Service little slow, but seemed like they needed more staff, which is common during the current times. Also we were not able to find their jarred apple slices, which we always enjoy. Seems like they don't even know when they will have again. Always stop for breakfast

Our family had a horrendous time here today. I would like to acknowledge that it is a holiday weekend and often that does disrupt the pace of things in many industries. However, staff should have been prepared for this and utilized their resources to make guests feel welcome and still have a somewhat enjoyable experience. That was not the case today at this restaurant. Our server ignored us for the entire 1.5 hours we were seated at our table. I had to ask twice for more silverware, as our table was not properly outfitted when we sat down. She did not have a smile on her face or a positive attitude. She actually complained to us how busy it was. It took 20+ minutes to get water. It took over an hour (and I can prove this due to the text message they sent us confirming our table was ready) to get our food. During the hour long wait. I had to address our server several times (called her over myself, she didn't even make eye contact with our family of 3 once) to ask about how long the wait would be. The second time I asked, our food came out immediately with no apology or attempt at any sort of hospitality whatsoever. The food was nothing special. Definitely not worth that kind of wait and lackluster waitstaff. Also of note, this establishment does NOT offer a military discount or incentive of any sort (located 10 mins from a VA). Found that fascinating based on the Americana-themed ephemera for sale throughout the store and restaurant!

First time at this location and the food is always so good. Not sure what was your with our server, Naquajia H. She didn't seems happy to serve us nor had the patience to wait before we finished our orders and walked away so we had to call her back. And when we ask her to help us take a family photo, she said she doesn't feel comfortable? Hmm...so strange and we feel like she did not like us. Well, we can't let one bad apple ruin our luncheon with our family. On the bright side, the hostess and Davon was very nice. And the runner, John. Wow, very impressive. Works very hard and cleans every table right away when guests leave. Very passionate with his job. Amazing guy! We also shopped at the retail store and the manager, Karen was very helpful, personable and kind! Thank you so much but sorry that we have to take off one star for the server. Hopefully she will have a better day next time but we will be sure not to ask for her either.

We stopped for lunch on our way from NY to Rhode Island. Both my husband and I got the southern fried chicken and loved it. The quantity was big, and together with the warm biscuits brought for starters and the side dishes we were more than full. But it was worth it. The price also is really inexpensive for such food. But the place felt a bit rundown and not so well cleaned and maintained. The table was greasy, not sure if it was cleaned between seatings and the whole place felt like it needed a good clean!

The new alcohol menu is truly awesome badass job guys. Drinks are always nice and Ice cold most definitely has me smiling. Let's start off with the chicken tenders my god couldn't ask for any country style better nobody can do it better that style that's for sure last time I went I ordered 2 meals I couldn't finish the tenders because I ate so many so beyond good. Fries are always made perfectly. Love the store loving the new aquarium effect added loved buying the new aquarium. All I gonna say is badass service and badass food keep up the good work. Nope not finished yet can't forget about the Mac and cheese nobody can do it better I can just eat it out if the pan with a spoon that's how good your Mac and cheese is.

I don't know what happened - but this place has turned filthy! Dirty cups, dirty floors, atrocious bathrooms. The service is so unorganized. It's really a shame - I loved Cracker Barrel! But this location is so dirty and poorly managed that it is stomach turning. Step up!

Food 3 out of 5. Got a tip that the meatloaf was a pleaser. It was room temperature and dry. Flavor overpowered with peppers. Service - 5 out of 5. Wish I remembered our servers name. She was on top of it! Atmosphere 4 out of 5 - fun and laid back

Traveling from LA to NY --whenever I see a Cracker Barrel, I make it a point to visit! My favorite part of Cracker Barrel is the cute store they have inside their restaurant. I love all the little Knick knacks, candy, etc! Any place that serves breakfast all day--is my kind of spot! I'm regretting the fact that I didn't order pancakes or waffles today tho! Their cornbread muffins are so delicious and their grits are pretty tasty too! The service was great and so was the food. I realized when I left, I realized that I left my coat and had to drive all the way back to retrieve it. The staff was so nice and understanding--I truly appreciate them hanging onto my belongings. Im hoping to make another visit to NY later this year and Cracker Barrel is on my list. Can't wait to return!

First time here. Very warm and comfortable Country Style decor, made us feel like we were in the traditional South. We both got a variation of fried chicken plates. The Mac n Cheese was Real and yummy! So rich and tasted like Mom's! Turnip greens were just rite and the coleslaw was rich and sweet! The fried chicken fell off the bone and the Skin was awesome, juicy meat, super crunchy on the outside! Biscuits were superb also. Very Filling, we could barely eat more than a few bites without getting full! LOTS to bring home! Our meals were literally brought to us both in 5 minutes! How unusual and delightful! KUDOS to our Gracious Waitress MARGE. She was helpful and genuinely warm and courteous. We highly recommend coming here if you Crave Old Fashioned, homemade Country Style Cooking like your momma's! No corners were cut here in the food. The country store is also very unique and quaint...full of clothing and country goodies!!!! A great family restaurant. WE WILL BE BACK. Maybe the meatloaf or the fried fish next time? Maybe both...with a cocktail!

My family and I really enjoy Cracker Barrel. From the south to New York CT all over. But for some reason it seems of this one was a bit off. I get they had a lot of to go orders. I heard a waitress tell another guess that. But what I did not appreciate is that when I asked to sit at another open table away from the crowd I got an attitude. And then several of the waiters were looking at us a deciding who was going to assist us. And then it took forever for our food to come out once placed. All and I mean all ... the sides were cold. The only hot thing was the fried fish. Very disappointed. I'm glad the manager came out to check on us because she clearly stated and saw how mad the sides looked. With prices going up I would like to get what I paid for. I'm understanding of the times but let's be fare. I don't blame the waitress at all. But don't let the plates sit and get cold.

This place is our now go to over the iHop and chips !! It has a county's flare of food options . I love the fact that this place has plenty of space , although it can be very busy . I enjoyed the uncle Hershel's breakfast with all the fixings as the menu says+ Fried Catfish . My husband had The Cracker Barrel's Country Boy Breakfast and he never had a country fried steak before he was very intrigued with it . He asked the waiter what was the meat since it said steak but looked like fried hamburger meat , The waiter couldn't explain it, it was Hilarious , he enjoyed his meal ! I recommend going here it's family friendly fast service , and good old hearty country eating for a great price !!
