Great food and drinks! Can watch the games on big screen tvs. It's on the water, perfect in summer time. Great staff!!
Unexpectedly wonderful! We sat by the fire, ate delicious meat + veggie burgers, while drinking good and interesting in a nicely decorated place. They even had colored igloos outside!! Can’t wait to try those out!
Vegetarian options: Good overall veggie options too!!

I think that they underestimated the amount of people that would be there the night before Thanksgiving. It was really busy so the service wasn't what it normally is. The food, I had the beef stroganoff, was definitely a 3 out of 10. There where so many onions, and the sauce was too thick and the beef was tough. So definitely not my best visit. I will say the drinks were very good.
The Walnut Beach salad and tortellini soup were both delicious! The restaurant was very clean and festively decorated. The servers were kind, attentive, and helpful. It was my first time there and I look forward to going back.

I visited this establishment on Saturday, November 16th, around 6:30 PM, and unfortunately, I had a terrible experience. I cannot recommend this place at all.
The “security guard” stationed at the front door checking IDs (a tall Black man) was extremely unprofessional. He accused me of presenting a fake ID. Despite providing my valid NYC state ID, he inspected it with a flashlight and shouted, “This is FAKE, and you’re not getting this back! You can eat if you want, but you can’t get any drinks, and you’re not getting this back!” As someone who is of legal age and had presented a legitimate ID, I was completely baffled.
When I repeatedly asked him to explain how my ID was fake, he continued yelling, “IT’S FAKE, AND YOU’RE NOT GETTING IT BACK!” He eventually said he’d have a coworker take a second look but insisted I still wouldn’t be getting my ID back. His coworker (a shorter white man) came over, checked my ID, and asked me to unlock my iPhone and go to the settings. When I asked why, he initially refused to explain (which I found very unprofessional). After complying, he confirmed that the name on my iPhone matched my ID and said, “It’s okay, she can go,” effectively proving my ID was real.
Despite this confirmation, neither of them offered an apology. I was extremely disappointed with how the situation was handled.
For future reference, if security suspects an ID is fake, they should professionally inform the guest that it will need further verification before making accusations or attempting to confiscate it. The unprofessional behavior I experienced was unacceptable and left a lasting negative impression.
Short drive from my hotel in Trumbull. Nice setting right on the river. Lots of outside seating and ample options inside including at the bar. Got the blackened southwest caesar chicken salad. It was delicious and more than I could eat. Definitely would return.

Not a good experience, other than the bar/outside area. Went on the day of Flannel Festival with my bonus sister who is neurodiverse. Our bitchy waitress had no problem outright laughing at her rudely when she became confused about the menu. She also got my order wrong too. Got the manager involved .

Don't sit at the bar, bartenders are way too busy. Been waiting +30 minutes, not one has even looked this direction. No signs saying you need to see a host to be seated at the bar. Not sure what the discount is at this point.
