The other day I noticed someone reviewed Raising Cane’s and mentioned Dogtown being superior to them. I too was disappointed in the quality of Raising Cane’s, so I came today in hopes of amazing food and it was better than I expected! I had their krusty burger, my husband had the CBR 1000 without jalapeños, my daughter had a basic cheeseburger and we shared the loaded tots. I also got my father two dogs with the works and chili. The food was definitely superior. I’m so glad we decided to try them today. In comparison their quality is so much better.

Small place with INCREDIBLE flavor! New to CT but we stopped by to grab lunch. These are some of the best hot dogs I've had (Mongo and Yuppie dogs) and the loaded tots were packed with so much complex/rich flavor, I bragged about them to others. Really want to go back and try the chicken sandwiches too

The vibes and the food are great here. If you want that old school joint with a new school twist on it this is your spot! So far ive tried something out of every piece of their menu and everything has been a hit. The burgers, the tots, the chicken sandwiches, the dogs! Great selection of sodas too! And the shakes!! Great food great prices and quick. Its a smash!

Tasty place to stop. Got the Mongo dog and onion rings which were both good and loved the outdoor seating. I think it'd be nice to have a slightly larger dog but we really just stopped for something to tide us over for a couple hours before dinner so this worked out nicely for us.

When my husband texted me to ask if I wanted to pop by Dogtown for its Bethel opening, I didn’t hesitate to say yes (despite the fact that I don’t typically like hot dogs, but I knew they had other options). HOWEVER, I swear to god the Sup Dog is the best hot dog I’ve ever had in my life and has turned me into a believer. I will be trying every other option on the menu. Burger was great too! Onion rings were so good and crispy even though we got them to go and walked them home in the rain. Those Doggy Style tots were a religious experience and I will be dreaming about them until I can have them again. Flavor overload🌭🍔
As a fellow small business owner, I know how hard it is to build something from the ground up. The Dogtown folks have done that and grown to open this second location, which I hope our town rallies around to support. Go check them out! Welcome to Bethel, Dogtown!
