$10 cover last night for a DJ that gave the same experience as my elementary school daughters sock hop. Played maybe 3 good songs, there were less than 10 people on the dance floor at all times and DJ refused to listen to what the crowd wanted. No one wants house mixed Katy Perry. Especially not for $10. I chose not to request any songs, but my friends did. None of which the dj played. Upon leaving the dj called out to me through the window and told me to come back inside. I said no because the music sucked and he said “you didn’t even request anything” and after explaining that my friends did and he refused to play them he said “well have you seen your friends, you should have requested them”. If you think insulting my friends is going to help, it doesn’t.
I’m sure the majority of the managements energy has gone into Elicit, but Eli’s management needs to do better with sourcing DJs. The opportunity to steal business from the stonebridge line is there, but not with a dj that’s playing shakira from 2010.

Really cool joint. Nice brass top bar. Lots of dark woodwork. Lots of tables and a few booths. Good bar service. Didn't eat, so can't say anything about the food. No parking there, but that's not a turn off.

Here on evening of 1/6.... not greeted-- the bartender too busy showing pictures on phone with other guests so walked out after waiting several minutes to be greeted or even acknowledged ...First time to visit so kinda disappointing. The bartender in the black shirt and jeans on 12/23/23 was the rudest person I’ve ever met I’m not sure how she still has a job. I said excuse me and she snapped at me saying you need to wait. Would never come back if she’s still working here.

Being a guy who grew up in Philly, the cheese steak egg rolls were phenomenal. The bar was great fun and the Two Roads local beer was out of bounds. If there was a 10 star review, I'd give it. Awesome place, awesome people, totally in love with Eli's!

Upon our arrival at Eli's, we were immediately met with a significantly loud event known as "Rock and Roll Bingo." Fortunately, this event concluded within 15 minutes. Subsequently, we were surprised to observe that the establishment allowed a children's birthday party to take place within a bar environment, where the children were running around, yelling, and singing. Consequently, we have made the decision not to revisit this establishment. This was in Milford.
