First time here and I met up with family on a Saturday. I called in the reservation but it wasn't there when we arrived. It worked out though and after a 10 minute wait, we were seated. Party of 3 for dinner on Saturday. We ordered a pitcher of Sangria ($30) with burgers and had dessert too. Burgers cooked to order. Great toppings. A smiling server who checked on us nicely. Place was super busy but not overwhelming. A line the entire time because this place is popular. Cost about $140.

My wife and I had a great date night at Flipside. We enjoyed the casual atmosphere and the food was great. Being able to build our own burgers allowed us to get exactly what we wanted. Our server Taylor N was fantastic! Very attentive and knowledgeable. She made some great GF recs for my wife who has a gluten allergy.

Went for a night out with friends, not only was our waitress Lauren incredibly rude but my turkey burger tasted off, almost as if the meat had went bad. In the evening I felt very nauseous and later experienced terrible food poisoning. Needless to say I wont be returning.

Came out to celebrate a friend's birthday and though I understand the reserves of serving to a bigger party; the service was awful and the food was unappetizing.When the food came out it seemed rushed and a lot of our orders were sloppily made along with our burgers overcooked or underdone. I was disappointed in the shake as it tasted like a watered down ice milk and when addressed our waitress was quite sarcastic and contentious.I had other changes due to the food being subpar and in the end felt very uncomfortable eating the modifications, as I could visually see the kitchen staff peering around before and after my modifications were brought to the table to observe me and my party. My party was also very upset and unsettled as she only seemed to be satirical with me the only black woman out of our full group of 8 people.Disappointed to have had to leave hungry and spent $35 for such appalling service and awful food.***Edit: My friend ended up being sick a few hours after eating the food from here.***

Picked up a takeout order today and first was told they had no change and needed to pay the upcharge. Next arrived home with two burgers that were to be well done that were not cooked, bright red and the bacon raw looking. The chicken sandwich roll was so wet you could not pick it up and eat the sandwich. Called the restaurant and asked to speak with Manger. Waited 5 minutes to get her on the phone and after explaining my complaint she asked what do you want me to do. I said the food was not edible to eat, uncooked and she stated that no it was not cooked to your liking but edible. This followed by the Manger stating I had an attitude and need to change my tone. We have eaten several times there and will not return again after this experience. The Manger named Lauren had an attitude from the start that she could careless. The owner of this business should take a look at the way this place is managed because this attitude can ruin the business. I will not be returning to Flip Burger and there are plenty of other restaurants in Milford that care about the customer and their product they serve.

Ordered take out for lunch. I ordered the “Flipside Nachos” for $13 with tater tots and instead of chili I got the shredded chicken which was an extra $5. I arrived to pick up my food and when I went to pay, I noticed there was a “To Go” Surcharge. I didn’t mind as it was only $1.61. However, the server running my card then stated there was an automatic 20% tip added to the bill unless I decided to change it. My receipt had the options of 18%, 20% and 25%. I kept the 20%. I have never been told there was an automatic tip on take out. Usually it’s you can leave a tip to help staff if you would like. 20% automatic tip for me to walk in and grab a bag of nachos to go? I got back to work and opened my nachos to find an incredibly small portion of food (see photo with my hand for reference. I wish I counted the individual tots). No way is the portion I received worth $18. I’m unsure if the portion is larger if you eat in, but I was still hungry after eating the incredibly small portion given. I want to also add that the food was mediocre. I have had better tater tot nachos elsewhere. The grand total for my tiny nachos with the “To Go” surcharge and automatic tip was $24.68. I would have had no problem with this total if the portion equaled what I paid for it. I have learned my lesson to not get take out from this restaurant.

I enjoy the atmosphere of the one in Milford, and it is in a great location. The burgers at flipside just taste like cheap sirloin. They pile so much on their burgers to hide from the low quality of meat. Its a nice place to go for a snack and some drinks, but there are way better places to get a burger.
