I usually like the filet - but tonight went for the salmon - it was over salted and overcooked. Should have stuck with the tried and true. Love the gin fizz and husband likes the burgers and my daughter loves the chopped salad.

Risotto was over done and it was laden with artichoke and sun-dried tomatoes!! So much so could not enjoy completely.

We've been going to Founders for years. The food is always very good. Unfortunately, the last 4-5 times we've been there the service is not what it should be. No matter how good the food is, if the service is not good, it ruins the meal. It's too expensive an evening out ($225 for 3 people) not to have a good meal. We may take a break for a while and see if they can get the service straightened out.

Such an enjoyable experience!! Food and drink were great! Service was excellent and ambience was top notch! Love the room they put our larger party in. Highly recommended this restaurant if you're looking for something for a special occasion.

I ordered the sole over pasta with a lemon sauce. I really tried to enjoy the meal but I had to add a lil bit salt and more black pepper. Unfortunately it didn't help. The buttered rolls, drink and the key lime pie was better than my main meal. 🤦♀️ Service was fast and great! The ambiance was nice. ☺️

Been here many times and try very hard to like this restaurant but we finally have to give up. When you get more bad meals than good one there is a problem with the kitchen. Staff here is usually okay . The bartender works her tail off waiting tables while tending bar so service can be slow if your there before 5:00. Oh well, we tried.

Great food. My wife had burger, I had the stuffed shrimp. Tasted good. Decent price. Tables on the smaller side. The kids loved the burger and chicken tenders. Our friend raved about the white cosmo.

We were seated immediately Which I was surprised on a Sat Night even with our reservation! Our server was very pleasant, and food service was fast. We have a few picky eaters but there was something for everyone! We were visiting from PA for daughters Graduation next time in area will defiantly visit again!!
I have been to Founders a handful of times and have had good experiences, but last night they simply just fell short. The restaurant wasn't overly busy, but service was very slow. For a table of four, it took over two hours to get through our meal. At one point, we were quite possibly the only people left in the restaurant, and there was a long wait to get our check, and then another 10-15 minute wait between getting the check and the server coming back to run our cards. Everything just moved slow. In addition, my friend ordered a burger medium-well, and it came medium-rare. He asked if they could fix it, and despite him cutting the entire burger in half, they still just threw the same burger back on the grill and put it back together on a new bun. Mind you, we had all basically finished our dinners before the server made her way back to the table to check on us to even give my friend a chance to order a new burger, so that was rough as well. The manager (I think?) came over and told us they comped the burger, but that felt off as she sounded more frustrated and dismissive rather than apologetic. Again, I have very much liked my previous visits here in the past, and I was excited to show my friends this place, as we have done monthly dinners over the past 15 years (135 dinners done and scored). Sadly, they all said they would not go back. I'm writing it off as a bad night and hopefully the next visit is better.
