We went with a friend last Sunday. The ribs was great. T at the steak Station as friendly and did really good med rare. Fried chicken wasn't bad and 2 types of gravy was already drying in the pan.

Golden Corral is a nice place to eat and relax at. If you go and be polite to the waiters and workers then they will be nice to you!! Mondays and Tuesdays are the best time to go for lunch It's never crowded on those days 💪

They were changing over from lunch to dinner so many things were unavailable such as the salad bar, many vegetables, white rice and more. My wife and I had to wait 45 minutes for these foods to be replenished.

I was just there for first time. Food was really good and hot. Surprisingly big selection of meats, side dishes, salads and desserts. Could have been little bit colder inside and some fresh air, but overall great experience. And our waitress Theolinda (sorry if messed up your name) was great from beginning till desserts. Very fast and always smiling. You won't find better selection and food for that price. Can't wait for my next visit. ðŸ‘

I attended dinner with family on Wednesday August 21st. Generally, happy staff, good service. However, the manager was something else.. Short, maybe Spanish or Asian, with glasses. She was standing with the cashier but could barely keep her eyes open yet looked like a bug said my son... My children asked what was wrong with her and I brushed it off. I could tell the cashier was embarrassed. I will be pursuing this further for this is family restaurant.. she was clearly under the influence of something!!

No soup bowls or spoons. No dessert plates or ice cream bowls. Chocolate dessert fountain out of order. About 85* outside and 90* in the restaurant. Horrible Experience!!

I've tried to be patient with this establishment as a new business. The stations were basically empty the food was dried up and looked like the food had been their all day. At 4pm they had waffles that were hard as a rock, brunt shrimp and catfish. Watch the cook take old cooked steak from the fridge throw it on the grill and chop it up. I give up and they should too, they are way over their head. Stick to KFC and Taco Bell that seems to be where they're successful at. The best thing I ate tonight was the watermelon. Springfield Golden Corral see you soon. Tee (waitress) good luck girl I know you'll be alright.😔I had even had the willingness to volunteer some of my time to try to help them get on and stay on track. It starts with management. You can't let everyone run you business because they'll run it right into the ground.

No air conditioning, empty trays on buffet, no hot fudge or caramel, no chocolate fountain. Food was lukewarm, to hot for slicing meats at smokehouse, management was clueless and unresponsive. Been to this chain all over the country, never been so disappointed, save your money or go to McDonald's, the food and service there would be the equivalent of a 3 star step up.

Food is always excellent here. Always fresh and delicious and wait staff is friendly and funny. Dessert was underwhelming as it seemed no one paid any attention to it. It has few desserts and empty plates of cakes and pies left out, zero ice cream as the machine wasn't set up, and the chocolate waterfall wasn't even turned on but the strawberries were out for it... Every other station was booming though.
Horrible service, got tired of waiting for a refill so we got up and did it ourselves. Nothing was being refilled, everything is mislabeled from breakfast time when it was dinner. The chocolate fountain was out of order and again almost all of the deserts were empty with no refill in site. Had to pick up multiple plates because the first 3 still had left over food on them. Generally the food tastes fine, but the service seriously needs to step it up.

Its not what a person says, does or accomplishes that makes you remember them it's how they make you feel that makes you remember them! Chrystal is not just an ordinary server or waitress. Chrystal is the epitome of customer service. This woman leads with a great vibe. She is extremely hospitable, warm, friendly and more importantly enthusiastic about serving all the guests here at the Golden Corral. I hope corporate recognizes her fine dedication to her job and shows great appreciation for her skills and talent.

I went on 7/7/2019 at 6:00pm, I sat right at the area where you waited to Be seated by the soda machine. Who ever was the girl that was our waitress was honestly HORRIBLE!! She was so unprofessional, and rude. She spoke to to her with attitude and not wanting to do her job. She was upset I asked for my utensils since there weren't any at our table. She rudely told a little boy who asked for soda and replied “ didn't they tell you I wasn't getting your cokeâ€. I so badly wanted to enjoy my visit since I've never been to a Golden Corral before but honestly would never recommend this location because of the servers. Other servers were loud and conversing about stuff we didn't need to hear. One lady tried to speak to me in Spanish terms just cause I was Spanish. I'm sorry but servers make the place and this place gets 2 stars because yea food was good but service was trash!!!!! Fire and hire better people please!!! Or give them proper training. It's a work place not a chill spot.

It was my first visit to this business and they set a good impression. Despite having a rush of business of 2 bus loads just before we arrived, we were seated in about 10 minutes! All of the food I sampled was fresh and tasty. The place is really large and it was easy to get food even though there was a lot of people dining. The price was a bit of a let down as the drinks charged separately and not self serve (though only one charge, and you can ask for refills at no additional charge). Also, just because it was Sunday, I was charged for dinner price during lunch hours. For some reason, Sunday's they charge 50% more for lunch. Oh, and the chocolate fountain is also really good once you go in for the deserts. The chocolate was delish! Overall it was a pleasant visit and I would go back. It's a good spot to fill up!
