HOD is a tragic attempt on a neighborhood bar. The food is gross and service is shotty at best. They are out of a multitude of food and beverage items regularly. Sandra the owner is always drunk, sloppy, and looking for a hand out. Her staff too. There is zero reason to ever patronize this establishment. Save yourself the aggravation and possible food poisoning and keep driving. There are plenty of great places to stop in the neighborhood
The food is decent. Burger is very juicy, ended up soaking the bottom of my bun. The fries are basically potato chips that are thicker, that was interesting. Service is pretty good, ordered appetizer and food at the same time, appetizer came out in less than 10 minutes. Entrees came out when appetizer was just being finished. Great timing. Waitress/ bartenders were polite and asked if there was anything else we needed multiple times, amazing timing and service. The bar area is...
Love the eclectic atmosphere and friendly staff. And they support animal causes. Didn't stay long. Just a pit stop while traveling so don't read too much into this. Just had a couple of beers.
