Fantastic experience! We were a party of nine adults on a Thursday evening. Our server (Tony) set the tone for the evening with his upbeat and welcoming personality. He made the evening fun and special for our group. The food quality was truly 5 star and the portions were very generous. You know you chose the right restaurant when you ask about the tiramisu and the server tells you it is excellent and that his Mom makes it from scratch!! We loved this restaurant! Great atmosphere, service and food!

Visited for happy hour and boy, were we wowed! The drinks are inspired and delicious. I had the "Baby, I'm Back", a cutesy name for a seriously delicious upscale bourbon drink. Friends enjoyed a spicy margarita drink and a lemony martini - both that are elevated versions of the usual cocktails. Two of us had the mussels from the bar menu for $11. We both received about 3 doz in a broth that was almost drinkable. That's not a typo. I could not finish-words I rarely say! The other in our party ordered and enjoyed the eggplant tower. It looked fresh and delicious but I was too busy to taste as my head was in my pot of mussels. The servers were outstanding as the food and drink. We had great fun with this attentive staff. We will be back and I think often.

Second time visiting IL Capriccio and can't say enough. The staff is extremely warm, friendly and attentive. The menu has a great selection complimented with a very good wine selection and tempting daily specials.Went with a small group both times and everyone at the table raved about their food.If this restaurant was in down town Milford instead of on Bridgeport Ave, you wouldn't be able to get a reservation.

Great experience! My friend and I came for happy hour on a Friday and Peter was a fantastic server, he really made our experience. Very personable, quick, and helpful with recommendations on drinks and food. We will definitely be back!

Amazing service and food. Hosted a party of 50 people and all servers were constantly attentive to tables and made sure everyone was good. Food came out in a timely manner and was delicious. All family members were happy and full when they left and they continue to tell us what a nice party we had.

Went here for dinner tonight with my fiance. Our waitress, Alexa, was PHENOMENAL. She had great recommendations, was very attentive, explained dishes thoroughly and talked wonderfully about the restaurant and food. The ambiance was so inviting and the food was extraordinary. Everyone there was super friendly and helpful and truly made our first time amazing. We will absolutely be back and will tell all of our friends and family to come here!!

Unfortunately,After having a really good first visit.Our second visit wasn’t has good.We returned for happy hour on a Saturday afternoon. Food and drinks were good.So we decided to try their meatballs.Sad to say they came out cold.We mentioned it to the server PeterWhen we first tried the meatballs.He said let me see what he can do .So we waited, thinking that he was bringing us out a new order of hot meatballs.No such luck , the best he said he could dowas to bring back the 3 cut up meatball to reheat them . Like really !!!! How tacky ! Really Bad business. No Bueno ?IL CAPRICCIO . So very disappointed

Amazing, delicious food choices (from appetizers to salads to flatbreads to bowls to entrees), courteous and educated staff, very nice and diverse, dining settings (bar, high top tables, booth, and patio), and environment is very clean. Copious cocktails, wine and beer choices (white / rose / sparkling / red wines, coravin, and bottles, cans, and draft beers)
Went to celebrate my wife's birthday. I had seen some very tantalizing pics on line and some good reviews so I decided to give them a visit. It didn't start off well.After receiving some very ordinary bread and unsalted butter, we placed our order. We ordered the Caprese Salad for an app, but had to wait almost 15 mins! To get the four slices of mozz and tomatoes. When I told the waiter that it was an awful long time to wait for it he responded that the food was fresh. There was just one other couple in the dining room so it's hard to imagine what could have made that simple plate take so long to come out. When the entrees finally arrived, they brought 2 chick parms and no chick franchaise!! When it finally came my wife said it was tasty.I ordered a side of sauteed spinach which was way too salty. This coming from someone who uses more salt on my food than is probably healthy.I don't have much more to say. I will never come back and strongly encourage others not to waste their money there.

Came for lunch with a friend, service was a little slow, but food was good. Portions were hit or miss, calamari was huge, my friend's lunch was much smaller by comparison. They have a kind of indoor but outdoor feel area. It wasn't open when we were there but maybe when there are more people. Will be back

Excellent dining experience. Beautiful ambiance, comfortable seating, great drinks and great service. Best of all is the menu, with so many wonderful choices from apps to light meals to full meals. The bar area is just delightful. Everyone should try this place.

But by then we were already frustrated because earlier she didn't even ask my wife if she wanted a to-go box for the rest of her food -- she just took the dish away...then she said WE DIDN'T ASK for a box, trying to make it out to be our fault!In our opinion Alexa is a very pleasant but unexperienced waitress and should get trained before she's allowed to wait tables on her own.
