Kathy's Cookies is one of the best bakeries located in Milford, CT and along the shoreline. I love they have gluten free options and are available in most Big Y supermarkets. I went to their Milford storefront this weekend since I had to see their adorable dessert options. I was asked if I needed help right away. They always have kind and helpful staff. I asked about ingredients in their cake truffles and they told me they only have buttercream, which was incredibly helpful for a loved one I know with food sensitivities. The bakery is clean, organized and every customer complimented how heavenly it smelled as you walked in. I got the Easter Bunny cookie pictured and 2 cake truffles-- one lemon and one Funfetti. The cake truffles are rich, moist and just the right size to satisfy a craving for cake in a bite-size dessert. 5 stars.

If you’ve never heard of Milford, CT—you’ll never forget it once you visit Kathy’s Famous Cookies. This place is a dessert lover’s paradise. Kathy has to be the Willy Wonka of cookies and biscotti. The cookies are legit huge. And the amazing part is that the cookies are baked perfectly. In past experiences, cookies that large are either over or under cooked. Not Kathy’s! And somebody forgot to give Kathy the memo on the standard size of these treats, because her biscotti is like biscotti on steroids!! Ridiculously large and flavorful! My biggest regret is not pulling up to her store with a U-Haul because there is so much more that I’d like to try. Rest assured, I will be back on my next trip to Milford.

On first arrival I was in shock!!!!! I was looking for somewhere to get dessert with my boyfriend and they had the biggest cookies I’ve seen on earth! The scones and biscotti are to die for and I mean it! This is definitely going to be a new favorite spot for us ❤️Kid-friendliness: It’s like walking into a candy store but for pastries!
This is seriously the cutest bakery in Milford! I came here to get some sweets for my husband's birthday. The lady at the counter was nice enough to wrap the sweets up and put a bow on the bag at no extra charge. Each time I come here, the cookies and pastries are freshly made. The cookies are irresistible! I ordered a double chocolate chip cookie with m&m's. It was as if I was taking a bite out of heaven itself.

Custom ordered vegan cupcakes for my son’s birthday as he has a milk and egg allergy. The cupcakes were HUGE had great flavor and were very moist. My husband (who is far from vegan) said you couldn’t even tell the difference!

Disappointed as a pistachio lover! Got a $5 "pistachio cannoli" filled cupcake that overwhelmingly just tasted like amaretto, which I hate. Not even a hint of pistachio! Thought I was going crazy until my mother tried and said the same thing, but I should've known from its neon green color. Friendly staff but don't waste your money on this if you're looking for actual pistachio flavor.
These cookies are great! We bought some as a thank you to our neighbor and decided to split one with my husband on the way home... DELICIOUS! Will 100% be contancting them for an order for my 30th birthday!

Kathy did all of the desserts (Cookies, truffles) for my wedding recently! She was outstandingly helpful, very knowledgable and extremely patient with us as we made several changes throughout the ordering process! My husband and I have been going to Kathy's Cookies for years and just couldn't deny how much we wanted them at our wedding! Kathy prepared an amazing ensemble of MANY different cookies and truffles for our wedding! She even went out of her way to check the weather around our wedding location to see if dipping the cookies in chocolate was a good idea! She was amazing and I cannot recommend her enough, just for her extraordinary service.Now, with that being said, the cookies and truffles were ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. This goes without saying, but they were a hit! Everyone loved them, and many guests even took some to go as treats! I cannot recommend her and her delicious cookies enough! Simply the best cookies around, Kathy's Cookies does an incredible job. My husband and I have ordered platters for a number of occasions and they really make everyone's day. A fabulous variety, so I'm hard pressed to pick a favorite. They also make amazing scones, cupcakes, mandel bread, and biscotti. Deciding what to get is the hardest part but you'll never walk out of here empty handed. Enjoy!!!
