This restaurant has a very nostalgic vibe to it. Minimal decoration and it’s basically come in, eat, and leave. The menu is rather extensive and authentic. The egg roll and general Tsao chicken were amazing, very fresh, tenders and flavorful. The grill was great. The boneless ribs were disappointing and cold. They didn’t serve tea but I think you could buy it. The prices were reasonable. We order a lunch plate and it was $12.00 for a soup, egg roll, entree and choice of rice.the vegetable fried rice was just okay. The wonton broth was very good but the wonton dough was too thick. I do strongly recommend this place.

NOT your average Chinese food place, uou could tell by the Egg Drop Soup! Many items have an great meat selection. Among those are crab, sea bass, duck and beef brisket. We had the Sauted Shredded Beef with Szechuan Jalapenos and the Fried Rice with Duck. It was awesome! There are many options I want to go back for.

Delicious food, super fresh & authentic. Steamed dumplings & hot & sour soup were incredible. Good portion size & price is on point. Very clean & nice wine selection ;)

10/10 This is the best traditional Szechuan Chinese restaurant in CT! Great to see it’s still top notch. The food is incredible, as is the service and atmosphere. They’re very friendly and kind.
I usually don’t get to try spicy Szechuan dishes because of my peanut allergy but they took good care of me! This is the first time we’ve tried their beef hotpot and it was divine! 🤤
We ate so much but felt very ‘clean/healthy-full’ as nothing was heavy and everything was so fresh.
Also the portions are big.
Can’t wait to go back. 😋 (What we ordered in the picture captions)
Dietary restrictions: I have a peanut and fish allergy and they always accommodate me

Best Chinese food I’ve found in the New Haven area. Chongqing noodles are a standout. Soup dumplings were awesome. Strip mall vibe reminds me of LA—no frills just super good food.

We are regulars here to enjoy the special lunch on weekdays. Quality of their dishes is very good. Their Hot and Sour soup is worth trying. Service is quick and courteous. The price of the lunch is good value for money

Authentic Sze Chuan cuisine, best Sze Chuan restaurant in Connecticut!
A very good Sichuan restaurant. Chengdu people think it is very authentic. The red oil dumplings and Mapo tofu are both delicious.
