Located on the always busy Post Road (Route 1) in Milford, Lassie's is has a long reputation for delivering very good food in a casual atmosphere. Somehow, despite driving past Lassie's hundreds of times, this was our first visit here. For decades (more than 50 years), they've been known for their roast beef sandwiches. There is so much more here, though, that you could enjoy a different option every day for 6 months and probably not get through the regular menu and daily specials. Whether it be chicken entrees, prime rib, seafood, salads, sandwiches, pasta, steaks, or chops, you will find something to enjoy at Lassie's. We went on a Saturday evening and were glad that they take reservations. The establishment features two entrances - one to the bar and one to the restaurant with a modest number of tables in the dining room (perhaps 12 - 15). The staff is extremely efficient in working together to maximize table turnover while at the same time creating a comfortable dining experience. At no time did we ever feel rushed, but the speed of service and ability to fill our requests was remarkable. The restaurants stands out, to me, in many ways. First, in an era where most competitors price everything ala carte, Lassie's still offers (for the most part) salad or soup with their entrees and appropriate sides. You feel like you've had a full meal without having to debate should I get a salad? Should we pay extra for a bowl of soup? It was refreshing. Second, the pricing is realistic and offers an exceptional value. Pot roast or meat loaf dinner for less than $17 at the time of this review - amazing. Virtually every pasta dish or chicken dish on the regular menu less than $20 - outstanding. It makes you wonder how Lassie's can do it and other restaurants charge sometimes 50% more. Third, as mentioned, the flow of the staff to work together and create a wonderful meal was exemplary. No having to look for "your" server as they were all there to enhance your dining experience. The restaurant is clean and comfortable with a modest degree of decor. You won't find elaborate outdoor stone patios and firepits. Nor will you find lavish indoor waterfalls and mirrored liqour bottle displays. Some might find the setting dated, but we found it casual and inviting and unpretentious - and, we can't wait to return.

Me & the family really enjoy it here.
I have tried their Chicken Parm dinner, the Steak and Cheese grinder that comes with fries and another time, the meatloaf dinner.I enjoyed all 3 very much.Their coleslaw and Onion Rings are also excellent and my mom thoroughly enjoyed her Stuffed 1/2 chicken dinner. My Dad loved the Whole Belly Clam platter.
An excellent chef/ kitchen and a very friendly, pleasant waitstaff.
You will not be disappointed.

Just arrived from Ocala Florida! Meet friends and stopped in for lunch. Girls had wine and guys Yeungling. Whole belly clam appetizer was scrumptious and great portion! Cornbeef Rueben, liver & onions were to die for. Chicken Marsala was sublime. The wait and service teams are top notch. Wish we could move it down to Florida. Nothing like it
Always love returning to our favorite eatery.

Seafood penne Ala vodka 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Small restaurant but the locals all know how great the food is and the prices are reasonable. Get a reservation if you’re going for dinner Friday or Saturday. Family run business since the 60’s.

Went for a quick dinner after attending the Stamford Thanksgiving Parade on our way home, had the French onion soup, the roast beef sandwich, a pastrami sandwich and a hamburger. Outstanding French onion soup, not salty as most, and the famous roast beef sandwich, my wife loved the pastrami sandwich, both of which were under $10, unbelievable price and quality.

It isn’t often these days that you see a staff that goes beyond all expectations to help you create the perfect day.

Scott and his team at Lasse’s are truly exceptional. Not only is their food excellent, the genuine care for their customers exceeds all expectations.

In a cluster of mistakes (all mine), the team at Lasse’s moved our catering order to a new date making it a birthday my mom will never forget.

Our whole family loves Lasse’s and we feel so lucky to have them cater all our family events.
