I really wanted to like the place, but it was mediocre. What changed my mind was our experience with the food truck. From poor service to awful chicken tenders, french fries, and a terrible hotdog, we are underwhelmed to say the least. They had more quality ingredients and it showed in taste.

There's something uniquely welcoming about the ambiance, a captivating blend of comfort and sophistication that sets the perfect tone for the exceptional dining experience that awaits Their sangria was perfect! Now, let's talk about their OG chicken sandwich – it's simply to die for! The chicken is tender and juicy, cradled within a perfectly toasted bun and layered with fresh ingredients that only amplify the whole experience. In addition to the remarkable food, the friendly and attentive staff truly takes the experience to the next level. Always ready with a smile, they make sure your visit is as enjoyable as possible, consistently going the extra mile to meet and exceed expectations. In conclusion, a visit to Liberty Rock on Bridgeport Ave is more than just a meal – it's an experience filled with fantastic food, superior service, and a warm atmosphere that leaves you eager to return. Always consistent with their chicken sandwiches! Totally crispy, tender and delicious! The french fries and Brussel Sprouts are amazing as well!

Rooted on our UConn Huskies for March Madness at Liberty Rock Tavern tonight! We loved the intimate feel of this sports bar. The menu is on the smaller size, but has great offerings and is suitable for the space the building holds. Our order:-We took advantage of the half off wings special for Sundays. The wings were a good size and we enjoyed the blue cheese. -Brussel sprouts: piping hot! And a HUGE portion size. These are a saucier style (loved the maple flavor) as opposed to crispy. Definitely recommend.-Buffalo Cauliflower: Just the right amount of kick and perfectly roasted. We loved the ranch dipping sauce. Also definitely recommend.-We had to try the O.G. Chicken sandwich as it appears to be the menu staple. The edges could have used some more sauce, but the middle bites of the sandwich were juicy! Loved the pickles, bacon, ranch, and American cheese flavor combo.-Side of onion rings, was served with honey mustard. Not overly greasy, had great flavor.Service was great, we loved the music but wish we could have heard more commentating from the basketball games. We were frustrated at times with the use of their plastic utensils... we often were fighting with our veggies as they slid off of our forks, but understand how the plastic utensils aligns with their popular food truck. We left feeling VERY full and took some wings to go. There were quite a few parties for a Sunday night, and their take out business seemed steady. Liberty Rock Tavern appears to be a hidden gem of a sports bar in the Milford area. We definitely plan to go back!

Absolutely the worst tacos I have ever had. They had a trailer at the taco fest in Bridgeport, and for $6 you can get the worst tacos of your life. The pork belly taco was fat and fat only, it was un-edible. I threw it away along with the steak taco. Not to mention they were cooking the meat on a hot plate on the ground behind the food trailer…. Never ever going to their food trucks ever again.
