Looking for an authentic grinder. This shoppe has been in existence since 1922! Great Italian grinder, just missed the oil that I remembered from 1973. Had mayo instead. But the sandwich was great & big. We split a sandwich. Yum!

Huge subs - I barely finished mine. Lots of vegetarian options. I got the meatball (non-veg) sub but it was super messy, got soggy so I couldn't keep it for later, and the meatballs had a strong taste. I would probably go back for another sandwich because it did seem like it would be good, but I do not recommend the meatballs one.

Went in yesterday evening. Ordered a half chicken cutlet sub to take back to my hotel. The service was very fast. Soon I found out why. The breaded chicken cutlet was not fried fresh just reheated and a bit soggy. I didn’t even finish it. Maybe they do better with cold cuts.
