Rainbow Gardens

This place has been a staple in town for year and I am kinda of ashamed that it took me until hearing it was closing to go. I had to try the most talked about item, the Raspberry Chicken Explosion Salad which was full of grapes, strawberries, oranges and other fruits drizzled with a raspberry vinaigrette. I love Rainbow Gardens. The restaurant is cozy and nicely decorated. I ordered the special, a salmon burger with a side salad. My daughter ordered chicken with pasta on a garlic sauce. Hers was truly amazing. We also shared a basket of sweet potato fries and regular fries (they mixed them for us). Their desserts are always amazing and the prices are moderate to high but worth it. Update: heard the place is closing soon unfortunately. Was looking forward to go back. First time here. Read the yelp reviews and they're fairly accurate. It's a nice setting, feels almost vacation-like. The outside seating looks very nice though it was too hot outside. The hummus and eggplant appetizer is very tasty, good flavor combination. Pita on the side was nice and crisp. We had the two specials, steak tip salad and crusted salmon with a peach and jam sauce. Both were excellent....read full review
